Worth It
Spent: $250 in Las Vegas, NV
I had my first Photofacial yesterday. To my surprise a few hours later I noticed a lot of dark spots on my face. I didn't see all of this pigmentation before because it was very light. I'm not happy with the dark spots but I know it's evidence of a good treatment so I am anxiously...

“IPL Hyperpigemented my Skin - Kansas”
Not Worth It
Spent: $400 in Kansas
I had an IPL from a clinic by a licensed nurse practioner. Using an IPL vasculite by Lumenis, he hyperpigmented the melasma and sun spots on my face. They became much darker! I was so upset. Later on, a dermatologist said he could fix it with a Palomar fractional laser. He did lighten the spots....

“Be Careful - Boston, MA”
Not Worth It
Spent: $500 in Boston, MA
I didn't do enough homework before I did this. I had two sessions. The first one was on my face, neck and chest. My face was fine, my chest was burnt, painful and did not seem normal. I went back a second time and only did my face since I didn't have any problems.
The second time I...

“Absolutely Worth It - Chesterfield, MO”
Worth It
Spent: $1,800 in Chesterfield, MO
I had a series of 5-6 treatments, 6 weeks apart; total cost $1800. Had terrible rosacea and sun damage. There is definitely down-time, that is, you won't be "presentable" in public until 10 days. But I tell you, it transformed my skin. I can't say enough good things about my...

I am 44 with Irish-Scot ancestry and the brown spots on my face have been bothering me for the past few years, so I signed up for 3 treatments for fotofacial including a laser for fine lines following each treatment. I could not find any negative reviews on the internet, but now that I think...

The treatment felt fine, almost like a little bit of a snap, very tolerable. there was a light although I wore protective glasses, it was obvious it was bright & it felt warm to the skin.
The experience was easy, I can see how well it works although I didn't want it to remove my mole...
