I have excessive unwanted hair especially on my face and chest and more recently on my upper neck and sideburns. about 4 years ago I started going for laser treatments (IPL) I think the machine was called Harmony and later they used Soprano. I went for more than 10 treatments on my face but... Read more

I have had 7 treatments on my arms and underarms. The progress was absolutely wonderful tons of hair was gone. And then 2 months after the last treatment almost all the hair came back. This is one thing that I was never made aware of.Yes you can go back and get more treatments, but how do I know... Read more

I have been getting my facial hair removed for close to 10 years now. All medical possibilities tested and ruled out, I just happen to be one of those 5% for whom laser hair removal doesn't work. But I get it done any how because waxing often leaves me with bruising. I'm skin type V. When I... Read more

I have had great results with Star laser and I will try other body parts soon! I was so tired of waxing and shaving and now I don't need to worry about that. I would highly recommed it. It uses a light suction method and I prefer it to other laser machines. Rana Read more

I have experience extensive first and second degree burns on my legs from this machine. I'm not recommending it - as a matter of fact I'd stay away as far from the Lumenis Lightsheer laser as you can. The Syneron works wonderfully. I have no idea why my office switched. My summer is over and... Read more

.At the beginning, I couldn't believe it actually functions as well as the old one, which was painful. It was too good to be true cause you know.. girls are used to suffer in order to be beautiful. But this time.. no more pain!! Sometimes I feel like a massage.. I could fall asleep... :)... Read more

I definitely do NOT recommend Star Laser to anyone thinking of laser hair removal. The layout of the office and the first consultation may induce a sense of confidence to the first time client, but do not let that sway you. They definitely overcharge, which I would not mind if I was getting... Read more

I've done this treatment 6 times and every time I go back to get my next treatment done I would definitely complain about my results. I saw that there were some areas where there were strong dark hair still growing and some areas with no hair. I'll admit it was worth it, but I'm a... Read more

It really works! I was promised 85-95% reduction after 6-8 treatments. Six years later I have next to nothing. A few thin hairs that are really slow to grow. My results have been best where the hair was thicker. A few tips... When the treatment worked for me, my skin was always very red... Read more

It hurt like hell, even after applying the topical lidocaine cream and leaving it on for an hour, but the results are nothing short of spectacular! I would have paid double! The results have been very permanent I had my treatments years ago, I am due for a touch up, I have a total of... Read more

Laser hair removal treatment is the best thing I've ever done for myself. About two years ago I decided to stop waxing and try laser hair removal on my full bikini and underarms. I have brown hair and olive skin and was told that I could expect between a 10%-20% reduction with each treatment... Read more

I finally decided to get laser hair removal done after months of reading other reviews on this site. There were 3 main factors that impacted my decision: (1) type of laser machine, (2) the pain/effectiveness level, (3) the facility. After researching, I found that the diode type laser is... I'm medium blonde with dark under arm hair, so Lightsheer painless hair removal seemed too good to be true - and it was! Had 4 treatments that were NOT painless. It feels like a very hot, burning sucking feeling under your arms. Hair seemed to be gone for good. Then, guess what? 5 months... Read more

Love the regular Lightsheer- Hate the duet-results long-term not good! Much better permanent results with the regular one! Doctor used the duet to save time for himself-and make more money. I would rather have it take longer and have it work! Read more

I paid over $1,000.00 for 8 treatments, brazillian and underarms, and after 8 sessions I still have hair growing. It is not a permanent solution. The hair is thinner and some isnt growing back.I may call and request a follow up but I will not pay full price. Read more

I am extremely pleased with my laser hair removal experience. I am hairless (just about) on my armpits and my bikini area is miraculously transformed. Previously I was very self-conscious of my underarms because the dark hairs even when shaved, still left a shadow. I had to shave every day if... Read more

I have had 3 treatments using Diode LightSheer for laser hair removal for my full bikini, but I have darker skin (near brownish color) on my labial areas, and the hair does not seem to be reducing in these areas. The rest of my frontal bikini is a pale yellowish (I am half Asian, half... Read more

I had a course of 8 Lightsheer treatments on my face and neck. I am of Asian decent and was assured this laser was safe so long as I wore SPF 30+ every day and didn't tan between treatments. I wasn't excessively hairy anyway, but wanted not to be threading so much as this was resulting... Read more

I am a fair skinned gal with very dark burnette hair. Lots of hair. Three hairs grow out of just about every folicle. My whole life I've been self-conscious about my legs looking like I hadn't shaved even though I had hours ago. And my bikini-line was always horrible -ingrown hairs and all the... Read more
