Arm lift surgery or brachioplasty tightens loose or sagging skin around the arms. Massive weight loss as well as aging can cause this loose skin, sometimes called bat wings. Liposuction is often conducted at the same time.
Average Price: $8,150

I have lost more than half of my body weight through diet and exercise and recently consulted with a surgeon for staged skin removal surgery. We decided that an arm lift should be the first procedure, followed by a breast lift in a few months. My surgeon will not combine these procedures due to... READ MORE

My background: Years ago, I lost over a 100 pounds and no matter what I did my arms wouldn't go down in size. I really am looking for other peoples experiences and thoughts about what my arms look like post surgery. I'm very disappointed with how big my right arm still is. I think I may have needed lipo as well but it wasn't even offered and I didn't know to ask. My bad! I'm 10 weeks post surgery... READ MORE

I was almost 250 pounds when I was 17. I finished highschool and decided it was time to make some changes. Over about 2.5 years, I lost 90 pounds. I lost all the weight with clean eating and tons of exercise. Although it took a lot of dedication and will power, it was absolutely worth it. I now... READ MORE

He scarred me terribly and wanted to charge me extra for fixing his mistake. I woke up before they even finished stitching me up and it wasn't even Dr Stanton sewing me up. They must have rushed it at the end. My wounds opened up and had to heal that way. Have not been able to afford getting... READ MORE

I'm only 20 years old, but have been overweight most of my life. Between the ages of 10 and 11 I gained approximately 80-100 pounds, which led to my being 250 pounds and in the 7th grade. From this high weight, I now weigh about 185, a weight I would be comfortable at if not for the excess... READ MORE

I had done an arm lift in 1999 by another surgeon and it turned out a disappointment. For the past several years I've been wanting to get it done over but worried that there were not a lot of doctors doing this type of procedure. I chose doctor Rubinstein because he did have several photos as... READ MORE

It has been a little over 2 weeks and while my arms are still swollen and sore, I can already tell a difference. The scarring seems as though it will be minimal. I have been wanting to get this surgery done for a long, long, long time.
