I feel like sometimes my nose is too big (sticks out too far from my face in relation to my chin and lips) but it's difficult for me to tell depending on how I take photos and the lighting. My problem is I have a couple of little side bumps on my nose (from glasses--see photo) that looks bad in certain lighting--or makes my nose look larger than in is. Thanks, Angela
Answer: Video images to assess aesthetic benefits of rhinoplasty. I personally don't think your nose in any way overwhelms her face. It would be very useful to use video imaging is a way of determining how modest changes might alter your appearance in ways that would please you.

Rhinoplasty and chin implant for more balanced facial proportions.The Rhinoplasty should be done in a natural way and can be done closed. Most importantly a chin implant will add to facial balance. Both of these operations should be done by an experienced rhinoplasty surgeon who does natural looking noses that you like. Do not rely on Imogene which is done on a computer.

You also have a small and delicate chin which tends to make the nose look even more out of balance. You're a good candidate for rhinoplasty but your surgeon should also at least discuss the option of a chin implant to further balance your profile. See if you think it fits with your idea of an attractive nose for yourself.You should understand that work on the nose such as the changes I illustrated involve very advanced techniques that most plastic surgeons cannot handle. You need to see before and after photos of a surgeon's work in order to determine whether he is good enough for you. You need to see that he has been able to do for others, what you want for yourself.

Consider starting with just a chin implant performed under local anesthesia to see if that helps with facial balance. A rhinoplasty procedure can accomplish decreasing the projection of the nose and making the nose smaller if so desired.
