Matthew Schulman: This product is Radiesse. It's a very popular filler. It's also used to add volume to the face. It's a calcium based product, so unlike some of the other known products such as a Restylane or Juvederm, this is not a hyalonuric acid. It's in its own class of product. It's calcium.

The advantage is that the calcium takes longer to break down, so this type of product will last about 10 to 12 months. So, it has a slightly longer duration. There are specific areas on the face where I think this works really well, such as in the nasolabial lines, or the lines on the side of the mouth.

I think this works really well to build up the cheeks... to add a more youthful appearance to the cheeks. This product is not my go to product in terms of lip injections. I don't think that the calcium based product is great for lips, because it can be a little lumpy and may be slightly unnatural, as compared to the other products that we have.
