Very commonly people would like to have a change to their nose but don't want to undergo surgery. A very nice way to achieve a change is through non-surgical rhinoplasty, also known as using fillers to change the appearance of the nose. What can be done? Well, using Restylane, Juvederm or Radiesse, several changes can be made to the nose. For instance, if you have a very low bridge, you can inject a little filler to help build the bridge up. This can also give the appearance to the narrowing of the nose. As you help to build up the bridge, it can make the nose look a little bit more slender when you look on it full on. Fillers can also be used to hide small asymmetries in the nose. Nobody is perfect, whether surgical or naturally, and those little inconsistencies between the two sides of the nose can be changed using a little bit of filler. Any minor dents or minor scarring can be filled in. As well you can augment, you can build up the tip area of the nose if you feel there is an area of deficiency. Non-surgical rhinoplasty is not effective for people who want to reduce the size of the nose. Everything that I've been saying has been add on, hide, build bigger, so if you're really looking for reduction rhinoplasty, you want something on your nose to appear smaller, you might want to have a consultation and explore the surgical approach.

Non-Surgical Rhinoplasties Can Fill In Minor Imperfections

Dr. Yael Halaas discusses the non-surgical alternative to a rhinoplasty using fillers to change the appearance of the nose. However, she notes that if the goal is to reduce the size of the nose, a surgical approach may be necessary.
