We give local anesthesia for our patients undergoing tattoo removal so pain is not really an issue. So, we inject them with a local anesthetic, much like you would get if you went to the dentist, and our patients are quite comfortable. There's mild discomfort afterwards. Our patients do have to clean the area, put some ointment on the treated area while it heals, and it does require multiple treatments. While I did mention that blue and green, they respond very quickly with one, two or three sessions, in most cases, we have found that the other colors will take longer to respond.
