Mommy makeover is a general term and there's a couple of procedures that are involved in that procedure. There's rejuvenating the belly, rejuvenating the breast, and rejuvenating other parts of the body, and patients may do all areas at the same time or separate those into other areas, but once you've treated one area of the body usually that's a one time thing. So if you have a tummy tuck, you're probably not going to have to have another tummy tuck or if you have a breast rejuvenation, you're probably not going to need another breast rejuvenation. Combining procedures is possible but it all depends on the patient and, as I said earlier, safety is the number one factor, so we'll take a look at you, your anatomy, what kind of expectations you have, and what procedures we're going to do and determine whether it's best to do a couple of the procedures at the same time or separate them.
One thing with Brazilian butt lift is that you don't want to put a lot of pressure on all those fat cells that we just put in your butt, so if we're doing a procedure on the front of your body and then we're doing a procedure on the back of your body, how are you going to sleep? How are you going to lay down? How are you going to sit in the car to get to work? All those things you have to consider which a patient might not think about when they're planning their surgery. So you do think about the economics of it, how many anesthesias are you going to have, how much time are you going to have off work, but you also have to think about the recovery and the safety of the patient and all of those are considerations that we'll talk about with the patient during their consultation.
