There are generally two options for breast implants. The options include saline implants which are round, or silicone gel implants which can be round or it can be anatomic in shape. Silicone implants tend to feel a little bit more natural. The implants come already pre-filled. Generally a little bit bigger incision needs to be made in order to place the implant.

With saline implants, they tend to feel a little bit more firm at first but over the years they soften up. In a patient who has very little breast tissue, I generally try to recommend a silicone gel implant just because of the feel and I believe the look is more natural.
