Scarring Blocking Lipo & Drainage, What Do I Do?

Title to this update says most of it, I received an abdominal touch up lipo in May this year, it is now 3 months later & it looks the same. That is most likely because the abdominal scarring from general anesthesia lipo in 2020 blocked the cannula & natural drainage, though the doctor broke through a lot of that scarring & I saw a lot of fat leave the area, what do other people think? What should I do?

Major Liposuction Scarring Issues, EMS to Reduce Hardness?

During the lockdowns in New York, I got abdominal, flanks, and chest liposuction done and the doctor said they also wanted to do an abdominal scar revision for me. I accepted with the understanding that the lipo was the priority. I was told everything went great and all the fat was taken out and I got a good etching job to emphasize the abs, but the recovery might be up to 18 months because they also did the scar revision.

18 months passed, I did 8 weeks with the binders right after, I ate no more than I did before the operation, my weight remained about the same as a few days after the procedure, and the abdomen still looked nearly the same as before the procedure save the scar, the flanks looked the same, and there was this hardness in my lower abdomen not present at all before the surgery, especially on my right side.

The doctor I dealt with the most moved offices so the other doctor who helped was my only option to talk to. I was in the same room with him for maybe 3 minutes, he did not even feel my stomach out after I told him about the lower abdominal hardness, not even a touch. He just said to change my diet and exercising habits and that was the end of the appointment.

I went to another doctor experienced in these cosmetic matters and they said there was a remarkable amount of scarring in my abdomen. When they did SmartLipo on my flanks and abdomen and I felt all the new scars getting in the way and the doctor said it didn't look or feel like they removed much fat at all since it was not that long since the original procedure.

The problem with general anesthesia the new doctor said was that once you're under, they are on a timer, so most likely they got caught up with the scar revision for so long that they didn't get to do much fat removal. The abdomen was a problem again so the new doctor was considerate enough to do a touch up of just the abdomen, but the flanks were perfect and needed no more work done. This strongly suggests that the original procedure never got so far as to remove much fat aside from the chest area.

I spent good money on the original procedure and I felt really disrespected by that doctor 18 months after. The new doctor was amazing.

In any case, should EMS (electric muscle stimulation) work on reducing my abdominal hardness and working on toning down there despite any remaining scarring?
