Cystic Acne&Severe Oily Skin Finally Gone!!!!!! - Zurich, Switzerland

I always had cystic acne, oily skin, enormous gaping pores, blackheads everywhere for as long as I can remember. I got acne very early in my life around late elementary school i would say. I had tried everything from different routines, products, every acne kit, the all natural route, less makeup, no makeup, mineral makeup, various topical cremes, antibiotic pills, etc.....the only that worked was my last and final try with the Isotronin(Accutane) pill because this was supposed to treat the SOURCE of my acne&problems rather than fixing the symptoms like all the other treatments did. NO matter what I did with the other treatments, I still had the cysts. I would have super clear skin at times but at least one or two cysts somewhere on my face. My acne has gotten better as I gotten older(I am currently 25) but im not full done with the struggle. I also got acne on my body especially my back. Blotting papers were a must I was a fountain of oil. SO I took accutane, and immediately, the oil dried up. The cysts stopped, my pores shrank, I had clear skin!!!!!! at first I took it everyday for a whole year, then I reduced to once a week, I have just recently stopped with my last packet of pills as my acne should be cured by now.......at least for the time being. My worst fears are my acne coming back, I have heard it is possible later on that it slowly comes back and a second round could be needed. The reason why we get cysts, and oily skin is due to the overly large oil glands that are overactive. The accutane is meant to permanently shrink these glands and stop or reduce oil production. By the way, This was all said by my dermatologist. I currently love my skin. I never had such high self confidence. I can wear any type of makeup I want, because it wasnt my makeup breaking me out, it was coming from inside me and I fixed it! I still cant believe I went through so much trouble to find out a tiny pill saved my skin. I get my problematic skin from both my mother and father. My father has oily skin and blackheads but not really cysts, and my mother has the cysts(even still today), and guess what, they gave me both!

If i do rebound and get the cysts and oil again, I would go through one more round of accutane again. Its worth it.
