Just returned from my consultation visit with Dr. Rachel's Streu. I couldn't be happier. I was worried that my face was looking too gaunt and starting to sag a little. I'm 56 and I work in a public service occupation with a lot of contact with repeat clientele.
Since loosing 20 pounds many of these people have approached me to ask if I am ill. Because this has happened so frequently over the last year and a half I started to worry and then began believing that there MUST be something wrong with the way I looked. I read about fat transfer and though this procedure might work to fill out the hollows in my cheeks and hopefully look less "ilI". I sought a consultation with Dr. Streu. I had heard so many positive things about her from the staff at Center for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. She told me that I did not need fat transfer to my face or a facelift because my skin looks so good, that I had enough volume in my face and that I looked great! It was so reassuring to hear this from a professional and someone who sees so many people with the same issues I was concerned about. She could have easily sold me on a facelift or fat transfer, and I would have done it. However, she was honest in her assessment, and said that I very little volume loss or sagging in the jawline. I would not see much difference if I had surgery. She recommended a small amount of filler. I will definitely go back to her in the future when I truly do need a facelift. She is so honest and while I cannot personally attest to her talent as a surgeon, I have heard many wonderful comments about her skills. I walked out of her office today with a big weight lifted off my shoulders! Thank you Dr. Streu!
