Not very happy one year-post op. My eyes are still droopy.

Pics taken 03-20-2016 but I am only posting them now. I'm not very happy one year post-op; and 2-year post-op. I went back to Dr. Hing at about 9 months post-op and he said he can fix and remove more fat below the brow. But I can't imagine going through it again. Plus I am too busy and can't spare the time to recover from the procedure. One incision is higher than the other, so now one eye looks very obviously bigger than the other. Should I get them re-done?

31 Days Post Surgery

Overall I am quite pleased at how my eyes are starting to look. I can still feel a lot of swelling in my upper eye lids. so even though my eyes still look a little droopy from the side, i know that once the swelling has completely subsided, my eyelids will look the way i want them to look. I have gone for 3 eye massages (which were included in the cost of the procedure). I have also gone for a total of 3 follow-up visits with Dr. Hing. He continues to monitor my progress on a weekly basis.

Being an asian with my skin tone, I expected the incision scar to take longer to fade. I do see it fading a little every day.

7 days post op

Just wanted to show these pics taken exactly one week after my procedure. i started wearing my contact lenses today. dr. hing said i could as long as i was not pulling on the upper eyelid. i am not wearing any eye makeup on my upper lids, but am using eye liner for lower. also i am very careful when washing my face, patting it dry very very gently around the eyes and also making sure my eye lids are really dry. went to the grocery store today but had my sunglasses on the whole time i was inside.

i set up a first meeting to meet with dr david hing. he took the time to explain the procedure to me although i felt that he generalized and grouped me with all the other asians who wanted a double eye lid procedure. i naturally have double eyelids so i explained that i was not going for a double eyelid procedure but rather to reduce the droopiness at the corners of my eyes and the puffiness below my eyebrows that caused me the hooded look. at the pre-op meeting one week before the procedure, i met with a nurse who went through the do's and don't'S and i also met with dr. david hing to sign some paperwork stating that i know that he will be the one doing the procedure. on the day of the procedure, i then realized that he really understood what i needed to have done when he drew on my eyelids and showed me what incisions will be made and what the results will be like. that set my mind at ease. however, right after the procedure, i saw that the incisions made on each eye were not symetrical. so, i will have to wait to heal completely before seeing if the end result will be to my satisfaction. all after care and follow up visits were already scheduled at my pre-op meeting. the evening after my procedure, both my husband and i received a call from dr. hing to check on me. we both didn't answer our cells, so he left us a message instead.
