6-Week Touch Up
I went back for my 6-week touch up last week. Overall I was really happy with how they had healed and I knew we wouldn't need to do much more during the touch up. Christina went over a few areas that healed light, and added a few strokes here and there. The whole procedure only took maybe 30-40 minutes I'd say. For some reason I thought it hurt a little worse this time around... but still totally bearable. She said that I had almost perfect retention from Round 1 (yay!!!) and that she expects I won't need ongoing touch-ups more than once every 12-18 months depending on my preference. I'm still loving the results so much. Here's a photo of me from that same evening. I don't have any close-ups yet, but if Christina sends me the ones she took, I'll definitely post them. After reading quite a few negative Microblading...
After reading quite a few negative Microblading reviews on this site, I felt compelled to share my experience. I got my brows done five days ago and am in LOVE with the results. I cannot stress how important it is to find a brow tech you trust. I did extensive research and chose mine based on her impressive portfolio of before and after photos and countless 5-star reviews. I scheduled a consultation so I could see her studio, meet her in person, and ask LOTS of questions. From there, I scheduled the actual microblading appointment for about a month out. (She's booked up... good sign!!) The day of the appointment I avoided caffeine per the instructions I was given. The total appointment was just under two hours, but about half of that time was spent mapping out, measuring, and drawing on my face. My natural brow shade was in between two colors, so she custom mixed a shade just for me. The procedure itself was a little uncomfortable at times, but certainly not unbearable. I am obsessed with the results! I go back for a touch up in 6 weeks to go over and lines that may have healed too light, and to just perfect the shape overall. I will add more pictures at that time.
