Swollen, hard and bruised. Post-op 5 days.
I had to use gauze on the top part of my butt because the garment is so tight it's cutting me.. Perhaps I needs a bigger size, unsure but it's really really hard to put it back on. Have you guys been having similar issues?

Hey ladies.. Sorry it took me forever to write my post op updates...this surgery is really not a joke...I'm on day 5 and I can finally say I got my appetite back and can finally sleep restfully. Post op day 1 was rough. I woke up every 2 hrs to stand because my back pain was at its peak. The pain is truly unbearable. I woke up to pee through out the entire night (which is fairly normal).. Day2-4 were slightly tolerable.. I have a kneeling chair against my bed to switch position from laying on my belly.. It's really nice relief... Standing up and walking around does alleviate the pain.. Oh and let me tell you about that infamous BM!! What a nightmare.. It was so hard... But finally succeeded! If I can give someone a good piece of advice it would be to drink a lot of prune juice even though it's disgusting! Straining and constipation is the worst when your butt is swollen and the entire lower back is in so much pain due to the lipo. Phew! After that initial bm. The next ones become easier! Boy can I tell you about how painful it is to put the tight garment back on? The first time I was sweating and had to take frequent breaks to put it back on and make sure the booty is all the out? Question for you ladies? Do you think my garment is too tight? It's cuts the top of my butt and that hurts like a mutha! Maybe it's just the right type of garment for me? I don't know! Please advice.

Today I'm on post op 5; so far it was a great day. Showering is amazing! Finally got my appetite back.. Taking walks around my neighborhood.. Overall, I feel like day 5 I feel 75% like myself. I try not to look In mirror often because my booty is still very distorted and lumpy.. I know it's the process and I try to remind myself patience is the key at this stage... Oh yea, my booty is looking like a shelf!! I just really hope it evens out more cause I really didn't want a shelf????!!!

Hey ladies... I had my surgery yesterday.. And boy let me tell you... When I woke up from anesthesia I was in a ton of pain. I was laying flat on my stomach and all I wanted to do is get off that stretcher. My overall experience was really good. The surgery staff were incredibly pleasant. They did everything they could to make me comfortable.. She offered me a peanut butter sandwich it was quite delicious since I have eaten anything for a while.. I typically get nauseous with anesthesia so I asked to get zofran prior to eating so I don't vomit (I highly recommend it).. Finally my escort arrived and the whole car ride home was a pain.. I didn't sit on my butt.. I just got my knees and turned around. I got home ate some food, drank some pedialyte mixed with filtered water and took a nap. I woke up every 2 hrs to pee.. It's very important to keep yourself hydrated even though it's a pain to be up every 2 hrs to pee.. I peer in a large plastic cup.. Works really well actually. My butt is extremely swollen. gonna take pictures on shower day but just wanted to update y'all.
