Lips have not needed filler again

I have not gotten filler in years. I am happy with my 4mm lip implants, and they do not bother me nor do they even cross my mind. I am so pleased I got this done. Never once have I wished I had gone 5mm, the 4mm was right for me.

As the years have gone by, I am still very very happy. 4 mm was the perfect choice. What a difference it has made in the proportionality of my lips. I no longer ever need lip filler. Even with no makeup at all my lips look great, but my favorite thing to do is line my lips from the outer corners into the center in a swooping motion to round them out, and use a nude lipstick. Make up is more fun with nice proportional lips!

BTW, I still don't regret not getting 5mm. I am happy with 4 mm

I just want to again say how incredibly happy I am with my choice to have 4mm permalip implants. It has made a big impact on how I feel good about the way I look. My smile is much more balanced looking to me, than when my upper lip would essentially vanish.
I do want to note one thing which you can see in the photo here. My lip implant, for years, has been heavily sided on the right of my upper lip (bottom lip implant is more balanced). If I squeeze the left upper lip, there is implant in that side but the thinnest part and the larger bulk is to the right. Does this bother me? yes and no. It is a bit weird... but the results are still favorable. When I smile my upper lip is nice, so that is all I care about. I just wanted to note this. I think a very OCD person would hate it. I don't care too much.. it's worth it for the nicer smile.
Additional note, I never wish for a 5mm. I think 4mm was the right size for me!

Dr. Robert Houser was very approachable, funny, and confident, without being pretentious. I very much enjoyed my initial consultation where we discussed all options, the pros and cons. The staff was very nice and the office was stylish. Procedure day went flawlessly. I was very relaxed by the way things went, and I enjoyed the procedure. Dr. Robert Houser is highly skilled and if you want an Ohio doctor to place Permalips with precision and care, he is the guy. He has done these many, many times. He is personable and has good bedside manner. Go to him for Permalips, you will love what he can do for you!
