Grossly asymmetrical nostrils & breathing worse than pre-surgery

My nose started to bleed and this happens daily, also it started to smell ready bad. I called the office and left voice messages and never heard back.
I was told that I will get an appointment but this is an emergency and I think it needs immediate attention.
In my voicemail I asked them to get back in touch as soon as they can, because I am worried that is smells Very bad and I hope it's not an infection - no response. I asked for a referral multiple times and no answer.
Has anyone had this issue? I am scheduling an appointment with another surgeon, because I am very worried it's serious. I can't be seen until Wednesday (with another surgeon) and they left me without an answer for the 4 day weekend...Very worried about my heart at this point.

Looks worse with every passing day and they keep cancelling my appointments
The tittle sums up everything. The swelling is as bad as on day one after the cast was taken off, nostrils are grossly asymmetrical, breathing is worse than pre-surgery.
Haven't been able to get in to see him, they keep cancelling my appointments. At very bad place mentally.
I can't believe this is happening to me, I took so much tome to research and contact other patients and I ended up looking like a freak.

I had the same experience, did my Rhinoplasty 3 times and the results of each was worse than the one before were, please don't feel bad your not the only one there, you will have another successful one trust yourself

No, but they all are the same. Before the surgery they need your money so they are pleasent and assuring, after the surgery and handing the money; they know you need them so they run away and make excuses like: your nose was worse and we fixed it, your nose was bla bla bla..
Yes it is. Dr.Nima Shemirani is Iranian I guess, these are most artistic in Rhynoplasty
So sorry you are going through this. What is the reason that this guy is telling you as to why you can see him? The truth is, he ought to get you into his office right away. You should be a PRIORITY. He may offer to try to fix it, maybe even for free, but I'd be reluctant to let him do the revision. I think its time to start seeking out a skilled revision specialist. Honestly, because of your result you might have a shot at getting a refund. Best of luck in your journey. You're not alone. Lots of us are suffering with you.

I wouldn't go back to him. My mother had a surgery with him around the same time as you, her results left her very unhappy and she hasn't been able to get an appointment. Apparently his health has been off lately and he hasn't been able to work. It's still sketchy, you should seek out another professional.
Have you had any luck contacting Dr Bentkover? I had my primary rhinoplasty with him a little over a year ago and am also really unhappy. My new nose is disproportionately short, wide, and and overly grafted. I've been trying to get into see him as well, but was told that he had some kind of medical emergency. Very frustrating.
Yes, I was able to speak with him, once he was back in the office, after his medical emergency. They didn't set an appointment yet, I am assuming that they have a list of patience, waiting to be seen, since he was out for a while.

I took 10 years to make sure I choose the right surgeon and this was my biggest fear..
Once the swelling went down, all the issues became obvious, my nose is pointing to the right, left nostril is much smaller than the right one, columella is not even, longer on one side..
Follow up appointment is in 2 weeks, I will post an update.

sending positive vibes .I had opposite reaction .I absolutely hated the way I looked at cast removal .My entire face was still swollen and I told him to tape it up immediately because I didn't want to look at it anymore. Now I like it more and more just under 30 days .I hope that he can fix it if it isn't a matter of uneven swelling .If not look at Jason Hamilton .He wasn't my doctor but I decided early on if I needed a revision I would be going to him. Hope it's just swelling

Give it time. My nose isn't perfect either but a major improvement over the original. I think a lot of it is uneven swelling that comes and goes... if you decide to consider revision down the road, I recommend Dr. Denenberg in Omaha. Take care.

As far as the aesthetics go I can see in your photos why you are upset with the surgical outcome. You mentioned getting a revision in your post and I hope you will inquire with a few more surgeons in your area before proceeding. I would not place my trust in this surgeon again I your shoes. From your account he appears to be unprofessional and incapable. I can't tell you who to see, but I'm in your region and I'd suggest you steer clear of Mass Eye and Ear, because my personal experience there is not good.
