The pictures included are a final product of Dr. McHugh’s facelift surgery. I was left with these very disappointing and uncomfortable results after an expensive procedure. After having more than 7 minor procedures in the office, Dr. McHugh told me he would correct his errors but I would have to be in a hospital setting. He also left my chin uneven, and I received several very painful injections in order to correct that problem as well. The shots caused painful and unsightly swelling and hard lumps under my skin. He assured me that there would be no more cost to me, and accepted responsibility for causing the deformities pictured above. Dr. McHugh’s office scheduled me for a corrective procedure. After I had been scheduled and I thought everything was decided upon, Dr. McHugh’s wife, Katherine, decided I still had to pay $400.00 and that there was nothing else to discuss. I did not have the funds to pay that fee, so I had to cancel the surgery. Because of Dr. McHugh’s mistakes and his lack of ability to follow through with correcting them (as I had been promised he would), I am left with no confidence in my appearance due to my permanent, painful deformities. My warning to any prospective patients is to have a witness if you decide to see Dr. McHugh, and be aware that his wife may interfere with the doctor-patient relationship. I would never wish this situation on anyone and I do not recommend seeing Dr. McHugh.
