1 month post op
It's been a month now and I can definitely say the emotional roller coaster has come to a halt, thank goodness. At around 3 weeks I started feeling more comfortable with my decision and stopped crying myself to sleep. If you're feeling this doubt and frustration- it's okay, just wait it out a little longer and if by 6 months you're still struggling and unhappy then you can start looking into your options (I.e. Explanting) but before then you make just be making your 2nd mistake.
As far as my phaycial progress, my chest is a lot more relaxed, the implants don't feel like tennis balls strapped to my chest anymore (hurray!). I think the massages I started after week 1 have helped significantly. My scars had started healing wonderfully after week 2 or so and I got scar cream at my week 3 mark which will further lighten then color.
I've started incorporation cardio and lower body weights into my routine again and I can definitely say I feel happy getting back to at least some of my regular activities! I do notice that any movement straining my chest is still uncomfortable because it's foreign to me but this will take time getting used to.

1 Week post op
This past week, apart from the physical discomfort, has been extremely emotionally; tears, regret & frustration for the most part, and sometimes the smallest glimpses of excitement. I started with about a 34A and wanted to be a small C since I'm extremely athletic and have never wanted huge breasts. However, I feel that the 450cc that was place feel so large and out of place on my body.. Almost like a barbie doll, but I know the swelling will take months to go down, I just have to be patient.. It's just hard to look beyond my current state.

Although I have an athletic frame; 5'10'' & 145lbs (mostly lean muscle) I have a decently sized ass, which in turn made me feel un-proportional with my A-cup sized breasts. Furthermore, being an avid weight lifter I also built quite some mass on my shoulders and lats, which enhanced my nonexistent chest. Dr. Kim took all this into consideration while advising me on which size and type of implant to get. I ended up getting 450cc silicon implants beneath the muscle (to look more natural) and the incision was made below the breast since this, as far as I understand, is the least damaging to nerves.
As of right now, they sit very high n my chest and are hard & swollen, but this is all a part of the healing process...I am excited for the end result (which is estimated to be around 6 months)!
Super friendly and inviting staff; everyone is willing and open to talk to you about your own and their personal procedures. Additionally, I loved that the surgery was done in their facility; no external hospital visit was required.

Dr. Kim was wonderful, she understood my desire to have breasts that would not hinder my physical activities. She was willing to answer any and all questions, however, it did seem she was in quite a hurry during my visit with her as she sped through a lot of the information regarding the implants and the whole procedure.
