First off, I have to say that this site has been a tremendous help. My fiancé and I have both been surfing it to read reviews, problems, the good, the bad (which, I have not found yet, except the some women think they went *too small*) Being on here has made my fears vanish, however, ask me again how that's going for me once I am in the OR....

A little information on myself. I am 27 years old and 5' 9. I have a very slender build. My weight is usually around 125, however, I can fluctuate and be anywhere from 117-128ish. I am having a VERY difficult time figuring out how many cc's I want. To better serve you, here are my measurements- hopefully there is someone out there that might be similar to me and can give me some advice.

Chest, 29 (but I usually fit into a 32 A nicely)
Waist, 24
Hips, 36

Being narrow in the chest and waist is awesome, don't get me wrong, but up top its like comparing a single pancake to a triple stack on the bottom. I desperately want to be balanced. I do also want to have a rockin body and I would like to go a bit larger than smaller, but not to the point to where I look cartoonish. Balance is beautiful to me.

Continuing on,

Yesterday I had my first and only consultation with Dr. Hoffman in Woodbury. I had another scheduled for this morning, but we both felt so comfortable with Dr. Hoffman that I cancelled it as soon as I was in the car! There was no rushing during my consult and everyone took great time to answer any and all questions. I was given facts and numbers. Objective information soothed my mind and made us feel at ease. His staff is incredible as well, from the patient coordinator to the nurse that assisted me with my sizing. I cannot say enough good things!
Onto the fun part, now! Sizers!

So, I have decided to do silicone, as I do not have enough breast tissue to cover the saline. The last thing I want are stiff breasts. It will more than likely be a textured, high profile, round implant. Submuscular with an inframammary incision.

We placed the 375 cc in and voila! I was so ecstatic over the fact that there was CURVE up there, that I thought that was it, but then we went to 400 cc and those were looking fantastic, too! Then, up to 425 cc and I started to get that nice roundness to them. 450cc seemed a little big, but I need to remember that once it is placed under the muscle, the pressure will press down on it. So, my dilemma....400 cc, 425 cc or 450 cc?? I am thinking 425 cc or 450, but shoot, I just don't know. He is having me print off some "after" photos of what I really love and he will take those into consideration when I'm in the OR. I suppose I will leave it up to him. After all, we do pick our PS based off of how well we vibe and our trust in him. I do have another sizing during my pre-op, where I will bring more clothes just to make sure. That will be on April 10th.

I am so excited! See ya later ittybitties! You have served me well and I have loved our time together, but it is time for an upgrade ;)

Check out my pictures- any advice/thoughts are welcome!
whew...clearly need to work on my posture! haha!

450. Definitely. Go for it, girl!! It will look amazing with your height and because you don't mind if they look a little large. They won't look large, but you won't regret going smaller.

Yes! Thank you very much! I know... The last thing I want is to feel like I went too small, however, I don't want boobs to my neck, either! Is there a thing as too much cleavage!? ;)

Hi, I think the 450 cc looks great in you! Very nice curves. I'm getting 450 also, im a lot shorter than you but I have wider hips and wing my Ps recommended 400 to 450 for a balanced look. I'm very excited for you and to keep reading your journey!

Thank you! What profile are you planning on?
User Avatar

I'm wanting high profile just because I want them lifted with good projection. I have slight sagging and don't want anything that will further emphasize it if I can help it lol. I'm almost 31 and not getting any younger and gravity is not my friend haha

I think you should get the biggest that your chest wall width and breast tissue can accomodate. This is generally determined by MD. I would say 450+ if you are able since you are tall. Good luck!

I agree. Anatomy is not something to ignore. He said I could comfortably get to 500, so I'm not too worried. However, now I've been reading about bottoming out and that terrifies me!

Your pics are comforting me. I am worried about that same size implant and dropping.

450. My ps said he always goes a size bigger than patients measure for and told me that nobody has complained they're too big yet. Go for it girl! I can't imagine going through it all to regret not going a little bigger afterwards. You'll love them, can't wait to see the updates!

High profile, high attention?

User Avatar

Hey everybody! So, I have been thinking about the high profile implants. Love them or no? Anyone have them that wishes they went with something different? Is a decent slope still achievable after everything drops and swelling goes down? I don't want to end up with boobs that project out a ton. Feeling nervous!

I'm 5'6 105 lbs and going with 325cc. Definitely pay attention to your anatomy. I'm getting mod plus. Not a fan of HP or UHP, but you're a tall girl. I think they look better on taller women! Do what makes you happy.. You look great in your sizer photos!

I thought about mod plus, but my ps really suggests hp. I've been looking at so many photos and all I can say is I love them all!!
March 14, 2014
Go with what you love! I don't know why I just feel HP and UHP look better on taller people? Lol but I see everyone's pictures and think they look so nice when everything is said and done. I'm with you! It wasn't really a great option for me because I have pectus excavatum so I'm speaking from some lack of openness to them based off anatomy. I have my surgery Monday. Fingers crossed. :)

I think HP would look great on you!!!! i am 5'8 and weight 125 and my PS told me that HP looks really great on tall slender women, because i originally went in there thinking i would be getting mod plus but he told me that wouldn't suit me very well. so im trusting my doc and going HP getting 475-500cc HP silicone

Oh thank you! It is so good to hear from someone with similar stats. I've been thinking of going to 475, but I'm just not sure. I'm still putting together my dream boobs and I've noticed that I really do prefer HP over mod plus, which is what I originally wanted! You are going to look fantastic!! Have you gotten your BWD or ribcage measured, yet? Has you PS said anything about side boob? I do want a little, I hope HP provides that.

Boob Idol

User Avatar
microtomacro
So, I have been finding a lot of women on here talking about a boobie idol, and I think it is time I find mine for a few reasons. 1) I need pictures of what I want for my ps and 2) I need to stop freaking out over how many cc I want. Everything is so different on everyone and I just want to get the look I'm wanting. Question is...how did you find your idol. Did you just randomly search? Did you find users on here that had great before and after shots? Ah! I just want to have it done so my brain can finally rest!
