Well I had my consultation and my surgery is...

Well I had my consultation and my surgery is scheduled. Although nervous, I could not be more excited. I absolutely loved loved loved my Dr. He has an awesome bedside manner and I feel totally comfortable and I think that is important with such a big procedure. Not having any more kids is bittersweet but I'm ready to have my body back. 7 weeks from tomorrow, cant wait!

I really want to keep track of this journey, and although it is hard to "put myself out there" and be exposed for these pictures I had to post them. My husband hasn't seen me naked since our oldest was born 7 years ago. I am too embarrassed by my stretch marks and body to let him see me so I am really excited for my surgery.

Thank you! He does. He loves it now when he "accidentally" gets to see me naked lol. I'm doing the surgery for me not for him. He is only ok with the surgery because of how it will make me feel. :)

Weight loss journey begins...
So, I forgot to mention my "stats". I am 5'08" and 185lbs. I normally am around 172 but I recently quit smoking and that is where the extra 10 lbs came in. For breast size purposes, I am currently a B cup. I can however practically fit my hand in my bra with my boobs, but I REFUSE to buy an A. lol For the best results I have decided I would like to drop 10-15 lbs pre-surgery. I already am very active in the gym but starting today I will be logging all of my food as well. I have 7 weeks so I think this weight loss goal is very reasonable. Here's to a better looking me!

Congrats on quitting smoking. I know what a challenge that is as I quit almost 11 months ago now. I just kept talking to myself the whole time; and by the grace of god I managed to get through it without ripping someones head off. Now I don't even think about it really. I am actually a really bad ex smoker because I can't stand the smell of it anymore. It gags me. Your weight loss is completely doable in that time frame and with that and not smoking you will have amazing results. Wishing you all the best and looking forward to seeing your journey.

I wish I was at that point. Right now I still walk by people smoking and it smells "good" to me. lol. I can totally relate with wanting to rip someone head off. It was the first time in 12 years I thought my husband and I were going to divorce lol. The emotional roller coaster the first couple days were AWFUL.

Haha - It does get better I tell you. I remember watching movies and someone smoking ohhhh looked sooo good! Now I don't even realize they are smoking.

oh my gosh that is the worst!! lol drives me crazy to see them smoking, it looks so good on tv!!
