At 39 yrs old (with an 11 month old daughter), I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. To say I was scared, is an understatement. Dr Scott Tucker and his staff have been AMAZING. Every single step of the way.
I was going into the mastectomy with implants already and was quite happy with the way I looked. During the surgery for my double mastectomy, Dr Tucker put in my expanders. I was a 40DD prior and was terrified about what I would see when I woke up. Dr Tucker did a great job of putting me at ease.I woke up w cleavage. Cleavage! After a double mastectomy! And my incisions were no where near the terrifying image I had braced myself for (thanks to all the terrifying photos on Google). We had several expansions during chemo until we reached the desired size. Once I was 6 weeks out from my last chemo treatment, we scheduled my final surgery....to swap out my expanders for my implants. Dr Tucker also needed to do a little liposuction under my arms to ensure everything blended nicely.
I just can't say enough how pleased I am. Not only w the fact that I have amazingly perky breasts (w one small faded scar across each), but with how Dr Tucker and his staff have treated me through out this process.
You don't feel like a "patient" in his office. You feel loved. I could never put the extent of my appreciation into words. Breast cancer, chemo, double mastectomy, expansions....it was terrifying. But their empathy and skill, made it so much easier to deal with. Thank you, Dr Tucker and staff!

What a great story, thank you so much for sharing it on RealSelf! Do you have any pics you can post too?
Which type of implants did you go with?
