You could always consider fat transfer (they inject your own fat into your lips). There are some more permanent fillers on the market but they do come with their own sets of risks so research them before doing anything. Here is a Q&A about it:

Hmmm I haven't really heard of an implant going away over time because it isn't something that can really go away- but maybe they had fat transferred, which can definitely go away. I wonder what kind of implant they mean?

I can't tell that one side has less pigment than the other. Do you notice it much?
