I've hit the one month out mark. Feeling really good now- virtually no soreness. I can wear my normal clothing and have gone down to an xs pajama pant. ( which is crazy, because the day I had gastric bypass I wore xxl pj pants. It will be two years valentines day!) Bought a beautiful vintage style dress on a whim of eBay and it fits! My scar is looking amazing- I'm massaging it twice a day with the scar cream I made and wearing silicone strips.

GIRL!!! you look fantastic!! Good for you!!! I cant believe you ever had gastric bypass you look like such a tiny woman. I can't imagine you ever needing it. What a great success story you are of it! That scar does look great, whats your recipe?!?! I bet it involves coconut oil? I swear by coconut oil for everything so of course thats what I think of haaha.

Ha! I always said I was a skinny chick trapped in a big body! I was a very clean eater and worked out like a beast. No weight ever came off. But with the surgery I dropped 100 pounds! :) Yes, coconut oil, Shea butter , vitamin e and essential oils for scent. Whipped with a hand blender. So amazing!

WOW! Beautiful results! You look incredible and I know you must feel the same. I'm having surgery in Raleigh in 17 days and I like seeing positive stories from ladies who are in my neck of the woods! I hope I get equally fantastic results. Fingers crossed! Congrats on the new bod!!!! I'm sure you are loving life!!

This is the second time I've looked at your profile (I promise I'm not a creeper). Did you have lipo of the flanks as well? Your thighs even look smaller! Wow....totally worth it, huh?!?!
November 26, 2013
No lipo. I think my thighs look smaller because I lost some weight post tt. Around 9 pounds. And I know you aren't a creeper- I've been looking at profiles over and over too! :)

3 weeks!

Today I woke up with no pain or muscle soreness. I've been having some incision burning, so I used the belly cream I made before surgery (to help my skin stretch) on the incision line and massaged it in. It helped tremendously! No more itching or burning! I also got 90 plus grams of protein yesterday. This is the first day I have felt "myself" since surgery. It's so nice.

You look A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! I too wear my binder 24/7 and the only swelling I have is right above the pubic area. Gravity I guess, huh? ;)

Ok so l'll be looking forward to day 21! When did you stop hunching? Such an accomplishment losing all that weight and going through with the sx. Your results are astonishing! Great job you and the doctor!

I stopped hunching over probably at day6... However, if I am sitting still for a while I still get tight in the abdomen. :/
