I just had my procedure. I went through the doctor that has done my breast implants as well as my fillers in my cheeks and my lips, and also does my Botox. He is highly reputable and my mom happens to be his office nurse, so I felt comfortable with him. I have had probably 4 sessions of juviderm over the past 2.5 years but my body metabolizes this too fast so I was always in need of more. My
Procedure was today. It started with the numbing, wasn't horrible, not comfortable but manageable. After I was numb he started the incision, I get a pinch so he added more lidocaine. After that it was just tugging and pulling, no pressure. My procedure took 25
Mins, he advised my mom I maybe more swollen and bruised due to having a tough time breaking through the old injection product and scar tissue. I'm home now, 2 hours post op. Pain is a 5/10, just took a pain pill about 20 mins ago, will update my progress

Day 3, working
niki0206January 17, 2016
Today is day 3, I'm actually at work, I'm working a homecare case as a nurse so it's pretty laid back, no lifting, I'm wearing a mask. I'm still quite swollen, bruising is subsiding, except I have a blue mustache from a bruise but I think the arnica is helping that. Very little pain, only areas of pain are where my stitches are, and it's not continuous pain, I just notice it if I yawn or move my mouth a certain way. Will update day 2 and 3 pix

I have had juviderm many times and never have I had such swollen lips. They have gone down within two days. It looks like they injected it into the lip and not around the lip borders.... Keep me posted...

Hi sorry for the confusion. I didn't do juviderm this time, this time was the implants. My left side too is always a little lower, I'm going back next week to see if we can surgically remove that little bit that hangs more as it is now more pronounced with the implants

Day 5
niki0206January 20, 2016
Swelling has gone down a lot, I have some bruising above my top lip, kind of like a mustache shadow. And also in the corners. Hoping they loosen up and don't feel so stiff much longer. I can't put my lips together like if I were blotting lipstick or Chapstick

They are looking nice! How would you recommend dr Giacobbe? Especially for the fillers and Botox? I am looking for a new physician in Bflo...

He's fantastic. Very experienced, gentle. He has a nurse Lori in the office that also does fillers, she's wonderful too. She does her own I believe and she's beautiful. All of my friends go to dr Giacobbe or Lori and love them.
