I feel pretty good and want to get up and go... However I have a lot of pain in my left leg --calf-- hurts to the touch, and my dr office said its because I'm doing to much and need to rest more! I'm getting chills from it... (It's not red or hot) Also a weird feeling in the middle of my belly, above my belly button. Almost like a knot, And it kinda tickles.

help!

The pain in my leg is getting worse and I called my surgeon this morning. I told him about my leg pain and that if I press on a spot on my incision (there was a blister there) pain shoots down my leg. He advised me to take off the tape in the shower-- I think I am allergic to the adhesive) and called me in an antibiotic! I am worried because I've had the pain in my leg for a week. I don't want to end up in the hospital! To make it worse my gf told me her daughter had a blister on her toe and ended up in the hospital for 4 days with MERSA! I keep getting chills but I don't have a fever so please pray that this goes away with the antibiotics he gave me.

Oh gosh! Thinking of you!

Did you ask your Dr about the possibility of a blood clot? A week of pain in your leg worries me (absent a known injury, strain, etc.) Not trying to alarm you but want you to know someone's listening!

Thank you :) I posted update. Not a blood clot thank God! :)

I'm so glad your heading to the er! I agree with bykergrl1 about a possible blood clot. I hope it isn't, but it's best to get it checked out. I wish you the best and happy healing to you. Let us know how you make out sweetie.

Okay went to the ER on Saturday night was in a room maybe 10 minutes and my surgeon to my surprise showed up. I was very happy to see him and he saved me from a lot of unnecessary tests. He knew just what it was -- Ilioinguinal nerve entrapment. He said he had only seen this one other time in his 30 years as a plastic surgeon. ( I believe that my fibromyalgia played a part in the severe nerve sensitivity and also straining to go to the bathroom) he said that the nerve may have been cut or sutured and will heal itself. In the meantime he gave me a shot to calm the nerves and hopefully stop the pain cycle. --although the ER did not have exactly what he wanted it would give me a little relief until I could make it into his office on Tuesday. I woke up the next morning with a lot of sensitivity and pain again which I expected due to the fact that the medicine only lasted a short time. I sent my husband to the store to get some topical spray for nerve pain --Neuragen-- it has been taking the edge off not making me so cranky. I go and see him tomorrow and he will give me a shot of Cortizone. Hope it works. Thank you for all of your concerns.

I am glad things are turning around a bit. My sister has fibromyalgia and makes everything worse. You are so brave. I wish you all the best. Just keep positive and know it's all going to be worth it.

Thank you so much! :) I am really starting to feel like myself. .. I even jogged a few times in the treadmill ! :) still have the nerve issue In my leg, and I'm my belly (when I'm not wearing my girdle thing) :/ & it's still hard where my incision is, belly button, & core where my muscles were sewn together. I am getting around great though!

And I do agree that the fibromyalagia has a lot to do with the nerve issue! :/ I love my results! ♡♡
