I had a breast reduction 8/15/16 very pleased with my outcome! I would highly recommend Dr. Cusenz! He was very straight forward and to the point that was one of the reasons why I like him so much. Very professional!
Dr. Cusenz is wonderful! He is my hero! I first met Dr Cusenz in 1999, 3 years after having my fourth child. My stomach was so stretched out and my breasts were so flat that I felt like old lady the age of 36. I remember the drive home vividly... I was crying because Dr. Cusenz told me that my stomach would be flat and that breasts would be perky. I didn't think that was possible but I remember thinking how I fully trusted him. I had a tummy tuck and breast lift at the same time and even though the recovery was painful, I never regretted it. I am one of these unlucky people that was cursed with no electricity to my skin so in 2015 I decided to visit Dr. Cusenz again to get my bat wings cut off. In other words, an arm lift. I scheduled my surgery on my 52nd birthday as a gift to myself. Recovery was once again painful... armed with the support of my family, I got through it fine. It's only been 4 months and I am more than pleased. I plan on having more work done in the future and would never consider going anywhere else.
It was worth it! I always thought I had to wait or be a size 2 to deserve a tummy tuck. I am very pleased and happy I did this. Dr Cusenz is a wonderful doctor and did a fantastic job. The office staff is small and personable. The surgery center was great as well. The entire experience from the first phone call was great.
My husband has been a patient of Dr. Bruce Cusenz for years and he has been a wonderful Dr. that has given my husband the best of care! I had been complaining for years about my sagging neck line so my husband made an appointment for a consultation with Dr. Cusenz. We were told that he was the best plastic surgeon in Buffalo and we found out that he is the very best!! He suggested the mini lift and explained in detail how it works. I consented and had the surgery on 8/21/15 and couldn't be more happy. The surgery was easier than I thought and the recovery took about a week before I was back to work. I was still a little swollen but not that anyone but myself would notice. Dr. Cusenz made me feel very at ease and also let me know everything to expect. He was spot on with everything he told me. I am so happy that I had this done and would recommend it to anyone....but only with Dr. Cusenz. I would not trust any other surgeon!!
My breasts were were so large other surgeons were intimidated about doing a reduction. Dr. Cusenz was positive yet realistic about taking on the challenge. I really didn't expect to have such symmetrical, amazing results. I am four months out and still can't believe that my new fabulous breasts are mine. They are the perfect size and shape.
had a decent amount of sagging, breast were reduced to 310 cc from 400, the outcome was great. breasts are lifted and even, look much better. Only been a few months so I am waiting for the scars to fade but it was well worth doing because I have the confidence I used to have when I was younger. breasts look much more natural.
I feel pretty good and want to get up and go... However I have a lot of pain in my left leg --calf-- hurts to the touch, and my dr office said its because I'm doing to much and need to rest more! I'm getting chills from it... (It's not red or hot) Also a weird feeling in the middle of my belly, above my belly button. Almost like a knot, And it kinda tickles. Updated on 7 Mar 2015: The pain in my leg is getting worse and I called my surgeon this morning. I told him about my leg pain and that if I press on a spot on my incision (there was a blister there) pain shoots down my leg. He advised me to take off the tape in the shower-- I think I am allergic to the adhesive) and called me in an antibiotic! I am worried because I've had the pain in my leg for a week. I don't want to end up in the hospital! To make it worse my gf told me her daughter had a blister on her toe and ended up in the hospital for 4 days with MERSA! I keep getting chills but I don't have a fever so please pray that this goes away with the antibiotics he gave me. Updated on 9 Mar 2015: Updated on 9 Mar 2015: Tried on some new bikinis :) Updated on 23 Mar 2015: Did anyone else have this problem? 4 weeks post op. And I feel great.. Still having nerve issue--. I'm fitting in jeans ok but my core tightens up when I sit and feels like there is a knot... And my belly button is hard to the touch... Weird!? Updated on 3 Apr 2015: as much as I love my surgical garment I needed something that wasn't quite down to my knees and still snug. Went to kohl's today and found this! Love it! And of course it was on sale and I had a coupon! :) Maidenform waistnipper
I am a repeat customer of Bruce Cusenz. He did a lifestyle lift 7 years ago and more recently an abdominalplasty, mini facelift and forehead string lift. Once again, I am completely satisfied with Dr. Cusenz's skills, bedside manner and wonderful staff. I am thrilled with the results and highly recommend this talented and warmhearted doctor.
My initial surgery was in 1997. Under the muscle, 300cc, saline Breast Augmentation surgery was done in Southern CA. On 4 May of 2013, my left implant ruptured. For reasons too numerous to mention here, I delayed the replacement surgery. My surgeon used textured saline implants & made them a tad larger to 330cc's. Tough recovery only because I waited too long for the second surgery. The muscle retracted around the collapsed shell of the implant on the left side. My surgeon said he really struggled getting the muscle to release it. Slowly but surely, I'm getting back to 100%. Really, really pleased with the results!!!!! Updated on 14 Nov 2013: Updated on 14 Nov 2013: Left implant quite swollen. To be expected, my doctor said. Updated on 21 Nov 2013: Tomorrow will be exactly 21 days since my surgery. I had a ruptured saline implant (initial surgery May 1997) & waited 6 months for the recent surgery. The breast that held the collapsed implant is still a bit swollen from the struggle it was for the surgeon to get the muscle to release the implant shell, since the muscle had retracted around it. Week 2, I began having some pain around that swollen areola (where the incision is) & noticed the other day the scar is pulling, as it's healing, & even more recently have noticed as the swelling is going down, the scar is creating a concave area just below the areola. I will provide a photo. I see my surgeon after Thanksgiving on 12/3. Planning on calling him tomorrow. Just wondered if anyone ever had a similar occurrence & can tell me if it will eventually correct itself. I've been using Vitamin E on the scar the last few days to soften the scar tissue a little in hopes it will improve the concavity on that one breast. Updated on 21 Nov 2013: Updated on 21 Nov 2013:
I was not happy with my looks for sometime. I did not feel as though I was aging gracefully (jowls, deep creases in my face and then the turkey gobbler). I had seen the commercial on TV and called for an appt. I decided I wanted to get to two different consultations by two different doctors but when I met with Dr. Cusenz I felt very comfortable and scheduled the procedure that day. Dr. Cusenz did a wonderful job and one month out I have healed well. I am very pleased with my results. The first two days were a little uncomfortable but after that not bad at all. I am waiting for him to send me my before and after pics he took. I love it when friends say something is different, you look younger and seem much happier. I would do it again. Updated on 26 Jul 2013: I need to clarify--I did not have a LSL--I had the Quick Mini Lift done by Dr. Bruce Cusenz and I remain very pleased.
Thanks for the photos. You definitely have both loss of upper pole volume and drooping (ptosis) of both breasts. You would be a perfect candidate for a moderate sized implant and a lift (mastopexy). A full Weiss (Anchor) mastopexy would probably be necessary to provide the optimum shape, as well as a long lasting result. Good luck!
Thanks for the picture. A tummy tuck or full abdominoplasty would eliminate your vertical scar and replace it with a low transverse scar. You should get a very nice result. Good luck!
Thanks for your question. Usually at least 3 to 4 weeks are necessary to settle the rearrangement of skin and soft tissues during facelifting. This is especially true behind the ears and also the temple area. Be patient and allow your body to do its own work in remodeling the scar. Your plastic surgeon will reassure you and regular follow-up visits will help reassure you as well.
