2 week update
Did anyone experience twitching around this time frame after Breast Aug.? I feel tight and twitchy like I can relax my chest muscles. I see my dr for 2nd post op appointment tomorrow.

I am 18 days postop and I still have a considerable amount of pain. This goes from sharp (nerve) pain to very very tight breasts. Other times they may be soft. Does this happen with you? Youre lucky that you didnt need a nipple lift (mastopexy) as I did. Your Dr has done a great job. Wishing I had gotten round implants
Thank you!! OMG YES I FEEL YIUR PAIN LITERALLY!!! I read everyone else's abd they say after day 3-4 they feel great back to normal and I'm sitting here like what the hell lol. But my doctor said the pain I feel is normal. I still can't get comfortable sleeping!!! lol I've used a heating pad across my chest and at bedtime and it has helped to let me sleep. Here is my process right now. I wake up in the morning and they are hard and sore. After my shower they feel a little better and as the day goes on they do get a bit softer. But then I go to bed wake up and it starts all over again LOL. I would love to keep in touch with you since you and I both had surgery at the same time and we can monitor her progress together since we seem to be going to the same thing. Did you get the implants shaped like a breast with the slope? See and I wondered if I should've went that route I'm sure ears look great though
Hi and thanks for replying. Isn't it funny how we are both wondering if we should have gone with the other choice. I notice round implants give you a fuller top pole (cleavage) so I'm regretting my choice at the moment but I'm sure I'll fall in love with them. My intention was for it not to be obvious from my overly padded bra size and I've achieved that :) I also love exercising and didn't want to impede this.
I'm also taking anti inflammatories which is supposed to lessen the swelling. Massage seems to help (and jiggling them lol) but the clinic didn't recommend massage. Did yours? Im confused as other blogs have it recommended.
I sometimes ice and have cold showers but other times hot water gives more relief. I keep telling myself this will pass in time.
I'm still up about 3 times every night and sleeping in 4 pillows.

No I completely agree about are similar dates and normal after pains! Lol. My doctor didn't push it but said I could start moving and massage. And yes jiggle in the evening is a lot more easy then in the morning. I would cry if I tried to first thing in the morning ha ha.

Hi. I'm very frustrated (and disappointed) as mine are still high. I have an appointment with my PS in the morning so I'll be asking him the question and I'll let you know what he says. Mine are also very firm. I don't know what I was expecting but it wasn't two rocks on my chest after such a long time :( Again, maybe I'm just impatient
What day was your surgery? Mine was the 21st. Mine are still very firm too. I want them to soften up. My doctor said it can take 2-6 months the drop and fluff, so im not suppose to worry yet. I even asked about wearing a band to help bush down. He said he prefers gravity to help them drop naturally. So yes I feel your frustrations!!!!

Hi again. My doctor confirmed what yours said - it takes 3 to 6 months to drop. He said mine have started to (I wish I could agree!). He reprimanded me for taking off my surgical bra too soon. On it goes again and the pain starts again :(. I think I'm supposed to be "strapped" because of the lipo. My pectoral muscles are very tight and I need to do more arm raises above the head to stretch. I will post more pics tonight.

Hi. We are 4 weeks on. How are you going? I am still in 'afternoon pain' where I feel my breasts are going to explode. Sleeping at night is still not pain free.

Ack!! Yes girl I'm right there with you. They have not dropped but maybe a little bit. When I massage them the next day feels like I've been beat ha ha. So I'm doing it about ever other day. I'm going to post new pics today. They have probably done more then I think but because I see them everyday I dont notice.

I always said after having all my kids I wanted a breast augmentation. I am 38 years old 32B weigh 130lbs and I breast-fed for maybe one week because it just wasn't for me. So my breasts were in horrible shape I just wanted that extra lift that I had pre-kids. I did a ton of research and came across this web app after reading all the stories and having my own multiple consultations I finally chose my doctor and went for it! So far I am very happy with the decision I made. It sounds vanity but my self-confidence is so much better, I feel more womanly. Ha ha!

How's your pain? What type of implants did you go with, brand wise
Sorry for the delay. I won't lie I was in pain for 3-4 days, but not unbearable. They give pain meds to help. I got the Natrelle Inspira Silicone implant ". I'm in love with them. Have you had surgery or just thinking about it! I'm excited for you. I'm on day day 16 post op
Oh and they are moderate profile
I'm consulting with 2 docs on March 27th. Definitely getting them!!

I bet you were so nervous and excited, at least I know I was. I am doing good I'm going on almost 3 weeks post BA. I wish they would hurry up and drop because they are still up pretty high but my doctor said it's normal . Yes please keep in touch I would love to answer any questions you might have. I know before my surgery I was messaging tons of people for answers to my questions. I'm so happy for you. You won't regret it. I originally went with 340cc. Had my consultation and then at my preop appointment I decided to go bigger I think 385 fits my body well it doesn't make me look too top-heavy. I did the mod plus. Correct me if I'm wrong but is the high-profile the one that is shaped like a breast? I asked my doctor about them if that is what my profiles are and he doesn't like to do then because they can move around. So I just went with the plane round ones moderate Profile

I just had 385cc done 2 weeks ago. I am 5'11 and weigh 142lbs. A little concerned that I went to small. I hope they don't get a lot smaller as the swelling goes done.
I think it's normal for us to think they look small because even myself now that the swelling is gone down I feel like I wish I would've one bigger that I look at my old pictures and I think dang they're big. So I know exactly what you're saying
Good for you for waiting until after you had children to get your surgery! You're at a great age to do something special for yourself. How did you decide on Inspira implants? I have heard great feedback on these implants. Glad you're feeling confident and womanly. You look great...congratulations!
Aw, you deserve that little extra boost in confidence! It's nice your doctor took the time to go through photos with you and could guide you on your implant type!
