I am 29 years old, about to hit the big 30 and completely not happy with my reflection. I am a happily married woman with the most wonderful husband, who always said I didn't need anything. That I was perfect just how I was. But after 2 children, now 11 and 5, I just wanted my body back for me! I could care less what other people think.4 years ago Dr. Beta did my breast implants and it helped my self confidence a lot. But there remained my belly. I had a saggy tummy and stretch marks for days. So as soon as I could I knew a tt was in my future. My children were larger than average, which left me with much wider hips than I had pre-baby and a much wider and flatter booty, so a bbl it was too. I am now 6 days post, I still have the garment on, so I can't see the full result until tomorrow when my 2nd drain comes out. But I know just from the looks of it I will be happier than prior. Knowing that I could do something to make me at least a little happier when I looked in the mirror would have been worth all the money in the world !! And after seeing my surgeons work I can almost guarantee that I will be more than a little happier!!!

Getting drain out today. Thank God. I'm dying to take a shower. I could of taken one 3 days ago, but was scared with the drains. Getting excited. I will see my tummy for the first time today.

Still have the garment off. Doc took it off yesterday and removed my last drain. I thought I was going to faint when he did. Putting it back on was very difficult, like putting on jeans 5 yes 5 sizes too small it took him my husband and me to get the new one on. I feel more normal in it. I came home last night and took my first shower. It was so tiring and stressful taking a pic was the last thing on my mind. Now I wish I had but I'm swollen and quite normally so. The surgeon said I really won't see the final result for 6 months. Wow that's a long time. Any one else told that ?

I'm still in my hospital binder. I just received my compression garment that my surgeon custom ordered for me in the mail and it does look difficult to get in to. Unfortunately, I was told the same thing that the swelling could last for months also. Hang in there and happy healing!

From the front I feel I look good, but from the side still thick.

I'm sure that will go away soon though and you'll have an hourglass shape :)

When was your surgery ? How is your healing coming along ?

Thanks for asking! It was April 14. I had a tummy tuck, muscle repair, and hernia repair. My recovery has been really hard. My surgeon used a lot of stitching at first to try to repair my muscles and fix the hernia, but when that didn't work, he inserted a permanent mesh. I'm still having trouble standing, walking and just moving around in general.
