So disappointed! Total waste of $2,500! I wanted to get tear trough fillers because I was suffering from hollowness and I was tired of looking exhausted all of the time. I did my research and seeing as this is a notoriously tricky area I decided to go to Dr. Rivkin because he is supposed to be a top of the line injector and an expert. He injected juvederm in the tear trough and voluma in the cheek, and I'm left looking worse than before. Instead of hollowness, It looked like I have puffy bags under my eyes, making me look even more tired!! When I went to my followu,, he injected more filler, and it looks even worse. The other option he says would be for me to dissolve it, but that would really be a complete waste of money! Maybe Dr. Rivkin is good for other areas, but I am not feeling confident in his abilities to fix this after 2 visits and now I'm out of a big chunk of money only to look worse. Even my facialist how bad it looks.

xxwoo,

I also got filler under my eye with Rivkin . I was ok with it at first , but it seems my under eye is puffy and I feel it aged me. I was just looking for information online and I saw your post. I am thinking of dissolving it. Sorry about your experience. Rivkin is great with botox, but very expensive. And I love my lips, which he put filler. Who is your facialist? Need a good one.
I can't believe he's actually injecting Juvederm under the eye! Yikes! The hyaluronic acid spheres in juvederm are too voluminous for that very delicate area, which will definitely cause that puffiness. Out of all the research I've done, and my own experiences, Restalyne silk is the best for undereye hallows. I've had the regular restalyne underneath my eye which was very bulgy and gross because it's traditionally best used for cheekbones due to its firmness. The Restalyne Silk brand, however, is ideal due to its very soft spheres and properties, which is why it's used also in lips for a NATURAL look. After dissolving the regular restalyne and having it replaced by a new practioner with silk, the results were so much better and more natural. I actually had to have two syringes in tear trough over the course of time because my body was metabolizing the product quickly (I workout a lot). Most surgeons advise against juverderm under trough area since it is so voluminous. If you are dissatisfied removal with vitrase should be free. Most practitioners do this. Best of luck
Thank you so much for this post. I have hallowness under my eyes and was really considering him! I'm sorry you're going through this !
