WORTH IT$1,800
I have been getting fillers done since I was 30 years old. I am now 44. I have been a patient of Dr. Greene for about 3 years. He is the best injector out there!! I know this from experience and I am also in the business. I am a medical aesthetician. I have worked in people's skin for over 25 years. I have heard about and seen a lot of bad work or "overdone" and un natural looking faces. Dr. Greene has a great eye for natural looking, subtle facial rejuvenation that will leave you looking younger and refreshed!! All of my friends and clients tell me I look wonderful for my age, I send them all to Dr. Greene, all of them have been 100% happy so far!!

You look very nice. What do you recommend for tightening the jawline? Mine are not bad yet, but I'd still like to tighten them.
My dermatologist injected botox in my saggy jowl as well as voluma in upper cheeks. She did a great job and i love the results.
Thank you for responding. I'll be getting Voluma before I leave on vacation in June, but I didn't know that Botox was good for the jawline.
Never heard that either. Lots of off label uses for Botox!
true
Make sure you get your voluma at least two weeks before vacation!! I almost did mine a couple days before vacation, got busy and had to do it afterword. I am SO lucky I couldn't get it done prior to vacation because when I did get it done (a week after vacation) it took my face the full two weeks to unswell. some do not encounter any swelling, some bruise terribly (I didn't bruise at all but I did swell up like a puffer fish with only one vial injected). At the two week mark I LOVED the results. But boy was I glad I hadn't done it prior to vacation. Also, and this is not every injector who recommends this (mine didn't but I read it on here) you shouldn't 'sleep on your face' after you have it done bc the voluma 'moves'. It takes a couple days before it hardens and, don't know about you, but as a side sleeper I had the worst sleep for the next couple days trying not to sleep on my new cheeks. I did everything right with icing it and arnica but some people just react differently so consider getting it done either well before vacation or afterword ☺️ Otherwise good luck to you!! I am 36 and just got my first injection of voluma to 'help' my jowls and love the final results.
greenlillybeth, thank you so much for your message and the advice. I thought about doing the Voluma about one month before I leave. What do you think? As far as how to sleep in the beginning....wow! No, my injector Connie never mentioned that so knowing this is valuable. I'll mention it to her in June/July when I get it done. I'm leaving in middle August. I'm glad you're happy with Voluma. Thanks again!!
Thank you for the complement!! like some of the ladies said in the comments, Voluma can kind of help lift the jowls a little, also a very experienced injector can use Radiesse to define the jawline. I had Ultherapy in December to keep the jaw and neck from sagging, but I honestly didn't see a difference. I hope that answers your question!! :)
My Doctor didn't tell me anything about not sleeping on my face. I know Voluma is injected very deep, so i don't think it will move. Also be careful on who does the Botox on the jaw, don't forget those are your chewing muscles. I had it done about 11 years ago by a Dr. who just wanted to take my money and convinced me to do Botox on my jaw, it was a horrible experience! I kept biting my tongue when I ate, because I couldn't chew properly. I also couldn't smile or laugh properly because the muscles in my jaw were so relaxed :( it was a bad 5 months!
Yes it answers my question : ) thanks so much!

Honestly, I never heard of botox on the jawline. Sorry you went through that.
My PS said absolutely no botox for the jawline.
Okay, thank you!
U look great! I want to start getting fillers, I'm 43 and finally feel like I'm needing a little help, I'm also a esthetician and have taken good care of my skin but being thin hasn't helped my face any starting to hollow a little bit. Do u have any before pics? I'm scared of bruising for weeks
Hi!!! Thank you for the complement!!! Unfortunately, I do not have any before pictures, but I will ask Dr.Greene. Since I have been getting Voluma for over 2 years, and fillers for about 13 it is more like a maintenance or upkeep. I never really aged since I started the fillers so young. I have just tried to avoid ageing the best way possible! I suggest you should start because if you wait too long then the changes will be very noticeable! A good Dr. Should do a nice subtle job. Don't be afraid of the bruising, that goes away like any bruise. You can cover it with makeup!! A little bruise for a week or so sure beats and ageing tired looking face!!! I say go for it!!
you are right! I'm 43 and up till 2 yrs ago i looked very good for my age people always guessed me 10 yrs youger, i feel like I've aged a lot in 2 yrs.... think stress caught up with me anyway i def need to start with the fillers. i want to do my temples as well, have u done that area?
Hello!! Yes I have done my temples, I did it about 18 months ago. Some people love it, I personally did not like it too much because it made my eyes look smaller! But it all depends of the structure of your face and I you have a lot of hollowing in your temple area. It is also a little uncomfortable to get injected there. It is a very strange sensation. I good honest injector will tell you if you really need it or not.
Do you fillers make a big difference on the temples as far as looking a little younger?
some drs have said I need it some say no, I heard its a tricky area as u can go blind..... scary. like i said I'm very thin and it has not done my face any favors as I've gotten older. i def don't want my eyes to look smaller, just soften that area, feel like its looking a little sunken. What i really need/want to do very soon is have him inject filler back towards my ear/jaw area to tighten or lift the area by my mouth, its a weird area but feel like the marionette area needs tightening. the key is to find someone very GOOD!!! I'm in Tucson az anyone know of anyone exceptional? Also when u did your temples was it a subtle change or could u really tell? thanks :0 you look amazing btw!
if your hollowing in that area it will, sunken = harsh= skeletor look imo.
yes thank you for that good to know info! i bruise like a peach all the time so i will def allow 2 weeks before any event when i get the guts to do this!
Yes, what she said! I had an ugly bruise for several weeks after the voluma. Good luck!!
Wow, since you were 30? That is barely out of puberty, what fillers would a 30 year old need?
LOL!! I had twin boys by the time I was 30 and I lost a lot of weight right after my kids were born. I had a lot of fat loss in my face. I also have hereditary deep nasal labial fold lines. My mother and grandmother had them so deep it aged them tremendously!! I wanted to catch mine before they got as bad as theirs. Since I am in the business and worked for a provider who offered fillers, I took full advantage of it!!
Well, it has definitely worked, you look great. As to the weight thing, it can wreak havoc, I think had I not had kids and ballooned during pregnancy, I would not have had "turkey neck" issues and my butt would look better.
LOL! Thank you!!
