Looks like your scar is very thin and your ps did a great job! How are they doing now ? Are you happy with your results?
Any updates?

Oops, One more thing!

Dr. Schwartz explained that it will take some time for the implants to fall nicely into the pockets and to see the true asymmetry of them. So, yes they match but the nipples look just a little off as per expected.

A History of my Breasts

I thought I would share a brief history of my breast implants.

After being between a AA - AAA, at 24, I decided to change my life for the better and got my breasts augmented. It was so long ago that I do not remember my CC size but they were saline and I wore a small C cup bra. I had drains and I healed nicely. After a few years, my left breast developed capsular contracture. I had surgery to correct it. It healed nicely and then got it again within 6 months. Went in for yet another surgery. This one did the trick. It healed nicely and I never experienced capsular contracture again. Although, the surgeon's office called me a few weeks after my surgery to tell me that I had an infection. How I got it? I have no idea. I saw an infectious disease doctor and was on antibiotics for 6 months. (Please note - all of these surgeries were not performed by Dr. Schwartz)

Since then, my breasts were beautiful! I loved having them and then life took a toll. A few pregnancies combined with weight loss and gain made them droop more. Especially my right breast as it was older than my left one. A few months back I started to feel itchy on my left breast and was not sure why. And then I started to hear a swishing sound which gave me the hunch that I possibly had a leak. I found Dr. Schwartz from a few recommendations and I'm so glad I did.

Dr. Schwartz confirmed the leak. Like a deflated ball, the implant must have formed a small point that was rubbing against my skin internally causing me to feel itchy. Medically, I did not need surgery but soon this leak would become a much larger one and I would look like a deflated tire. He mentioned my problem child was not my left breast. It was my right one. Since it was the original implant, it really was drooped. What I needed was new implants and a lift on my right one.

I did mention my concern for experiencing capsular contracture again, but he was confident that it would not come back as it had been many years since the last time. Also, he prescribed me Singular as research has showed that for some reason it has helped deter capsular contracture. His confidence made me feels so at ease as I remember feeling really bummed out when I had those two surgeries way back when. I have to take it for 3 months post-op.

Also, I find it funny that sometimes a person does not see an issue until someone else points it out for them. I look at myself everyday. I knew my breasts did not match. I knew my right one drooped more that the left. But it wasn't until he mentioned the right needing a lift and taking the necessary pictures for his files did I really see just how much it sagged. I honestly don't know why I did not think to have the surgery sooner!!

It's been over a week since my surgery and I am extremely happy with the results. Because I already had pockets for my implants, the pain has been very manageable even with the lift. I did not have drains. Also, he used surgical tape. In fact, I will be using surgical tape for the next six weeks as he explained the science of how a scar heals and believes his patients will get better scar results by using tape instead of some cream/oil. Again, he is so right as my scar just a week out looks really good. I have silicone Sientra 415cc textured round high profile implants in both breasts.

My breast look amazing and they match! I'm very happy with the results.
