Best Money I've Ever Spent!

Just wanted to post a couple update pics and let you all know how I'm feeling. My bridge I think is almost completely healed (at least it feels that way) and my tip is still slightly numb (mostly the right side.) But my nose literally gets more and more refined as the days pass! At first I wasn't noticing much change but when I compare my nose to older photos, I can really see the changes. Can't wait to see what I look like at 6 months post!

Just took my professional before and afters, I'm about 5 weeks & 3 days post op :) Dr. Joseph has informed me that my tip is still very swollen, but my nose looks terrific so far. I will be posting another update at 3 months, 6 months, and 1 year post op!

I have wanted my nose done for as long as I could remember. At around 11-12 years old, I made a promise to myself that I would get my nose done before my 25th birthday. Well, today it is 9/17/2018, I am a month away from my 24th birthday, and about one month post-op from rhinoplasty. Following through with a nose job and choosing Dr. Eric Joseph as my surgeon has been one of the smartest decisions I have made in my almost 24 years of life. This is truly the best money I've ever spent!
As soon as I met Dr. Joseph, I almost immediately knew that he was going to be my surgeon. During the consultation, he examined me throughly and asked what I didn't like about my nose, how long I've wanted to change it, ethnicity, etc. He was extremely attentive and detailed, we took before and after photos, and then his staff provided me with a price quote that was valid for ONE YEAR! I did not feel pressured whatsoever by Dr. Joseph, nor his wonderful staff to rush into booking a surgery date. After the consultation, I pretty much was 100% confident that I would be choosing him as my surgeon, it's just one of this good intuitions you have. Consult was 7/03/2018, surgery was booked for 8/20/2018! I was ready!
Morning of surgery finally came, his bedside manner was wonderful and they made me feel super comfortable and calm. This was my first time being put under so, understandably, I was pretty anxious. Now I feel silly for being afraid because I literally laid down on the operating table, then remember waking up and nothing in between. It felt like a blink of an eye, so I'm glad I'm finally over my anesthesia fear. When I woke up, I felt a bit dizzy and nauseated but nothing too bad, plus it went away within 30 minutes. I went home, and felt fine! NO PAIN WHATSOEVER. This healing process was painless (my wisdom tooth recovery was much worse.) I bruised up & got swollen but the majority of that went away within a week and a half. The worst part is not being able to breathe through your nose, but I will do this process over again 10x over to get these results! Two weeks of uncomfort for a lifetime of confidence? I'll take it!
Today I am about 4 weeks post op and I could not be happier. Although I know I still have lots of healing to do, I am already so in love with the results. I could not imagine what my nose will look like a year from now, and I'm so excited to find out! The before and after photos did not do the results justice. Quite frankly, I believe this is some of Dr. Eric Joseph's finest work LOL. I have never felt this amount of confidence, and this has been a giant weight off my shoulders. I no longer have to hide behind my glasses and my hair. I feel absolutely beautiful and I owe that to Dr. Eric Joseph. Best surgeon in the East coast! I will be recommending him for a lifetime to all of my friends, families, and strangers!
