I had a breast augmentation with Mr.Sterne 7 weeks ago. I am extremely happy with the result. I was 30AA pre op, size 6 , 7st 10lb, 5ft 2in, post op just been measured 30G. I had 325g moderate profile Mentor implants silicone dual plane. Very natural looking, the scars are very good. The hospital I had the procedure at was West Midlands hospital, Halesowen. The hospital was very impressive, the rooms were like one you would find in a nice hotel. You have a lovely menu to choose from for all your meals. All the staff both nurses and catering were so pleasent and nothing was too much trouble. I have never had to wait even 5 minutes to be seen by Mr.Sterne or nurses at any point. Mr.Sterne's PA Jude was wonderful, she was always so quick to answer an questions I had either by email or phone. My experience from start to finish was fantastic. I chose to have the platinum package which included everything. The best implants, life time follow ups, 5 years warranty against capsular contracture, a true lifetime guarantee on the implant, over night stay with op and a years guarantee on any correctable complications. With out a doubt I have high praise for Mr.Sterne and his staff. I have the body I always dreamed I would have. I am so glad Mr.Sterne was the surgeon I chose. I researched long and hard, he stood out from all the rest. I would 100% recommend Mr Guy Sterne. He is registered to BAAPS and BAPRAS, works privately and for the NHS doing breast reconstruction, along with many other things he is highly skilled. You know you are in the safest of hands.

Glad to hear that! Just curious, how have your friends and family reacted to your surgery?

Overall, they have all been fine with it. Even my Grandparents said they encourage me in it. I had a deep depression because of my pre op breasts. I couldn't even fit a AA, so I never wore a bra. Everyday was horrible, because let's face it big breasts or even normal sized amazing breasts are constantly in our face everyday, be it TV commercials or mazagines. I would cry everyday because I just wanted to feel like a woman and fit clothes without them bagging here there and everywhere. The only person against it was my sister. She was completely against it. She has a 32F bra size all natural, perfect round, no sag breasts. Growning up this was hard, I had nothing. I took after my Mum. Flat chested and small breasts run in the family, so don't know where she got them from! Now I have had them done, she hasn't mentioned it since, never asks how i'm getting on with them. I guess i'm lucky, just one person disapproving is good going, we aren't gonna please everyone. What ladies must remember is you are doing it for you, no one else. Do what makes you happy! Are you post or pre op? X

I am just a community manager trying to make sure our members are doing well, thanks for asking! I'm glad your grandparents have been supportive. You're right, there usually is one important person in our lives that disapproves. So glad you are happy!

New bra

Love this! A tip for post op ladies.
I brought this bra for a bargain in the sale just £5.55. Debenhams DD+ Gorgeous range in a 30G.
I wore it and the wires were uncomfy. I loved this pretty bra, so I removed the wires and voila! Comfy, pretty bra!

2 years on....

It's been 2 years 3 months since I had my BA. That time has gone so quick! I thought it would be helpful to do an update to say how things are.
Well I'm pleased to say things are brilliant!
To say all the sadness I once felt my entire life since I was a teenager has vanished these last 2 years, feels fantastic. The fact I don't get whispered about at swimming pools because I was the Mum that had two children and no breasts. The mere fact that I can even wear a bra every day, I appreciate it. Before I couldn't wear one. Not even a AA would fit, I would be gappy. I never could achieve any cleavage, no not even with a gel filled bra + fillets! I felt like a joke.

That's all gone now ????

I feel feminine, I have even put on just over 2 stone. Something I could never of dreamed of doing before. I couldn't be heavier and flat chested. I restricted my weight to maintain a stick like figure just because my boobs, even with extra weight did not grow. So not only has the BA given me breasts, it's given me the ability to eat normally and love a healthy weight too!

The implants are soft and bouncy, so natural looking and the scars virtually not there. I am numb 2 years on, on my left side, but I had to have more drastic surgery than a regular boob job as I had some breast abnormalities to correct (small nipples to fold ratio, new fold created, fixed skin and tissue in the cleavage area had to be freed up, very wide set nipples) Mr Sterne did such an amazing job correcting these things, it wasn't an easy straight forward boob job, but the results are beautiful! I didn't go for big boobs, I went to have boobs full stop. I wanted to feel normal, I wanted to wear a bra. This was achieved and more. I now wear a 32 G, that's what fits. However, look wise I would say I look a C/D and that's what I wanted.

Maybe sometime down the line I will have more surgery and go a bit bigger, but I am happy. I got what I set out to achieve and I can put the hurt and pain I felt in a box and have put it away once and for all

Hi, thank you so very much for your feedback on my review. So glad it has been a help to you, so lovely to hear! That why I did the review as when I had my ba done 3 years ago there was hardly any reviews on Mr. Sterne, and it's a shame as he really is fantastic!
My boys were at the time 2 years old and my youngest 10 months.
Saying that I am now pregnant with my 3rd, a little girl this time. The pregnancy wasn't planned, however delighted! So far so good with the implants, but I will update post birth and milk coming in and going to see how things are, which I think will be helpful to people considering a ba before having children. Hoping all will be fine though as I had no breast tissue before and my implant placement is under the muscle (lol helps hold them up).

Hope all goes well with your ba in 2 weeks. Congratulations on making the decision and this big step. I hope it brings you all the happiness and the boobs you have dreamed of xx
