I've been researching for about 3 years now. Met with several of the best Doctors in So Cal and saw patients from each of the Doctors. I wanted to go to Miami and get it done from Dr. Mendieta originally, but I don't want to make the trip back while I'm healing. I suck at healing. I'm a big fat baby and I don't know if it would even be possible for me to come back after a big surgery like this. I decided to go with one of my three doctors here in Los Angeles, Dr. William Bruno. He was actually the first one I met with and one of his patients that I met thru Real Self became a really good friend of mine. I know his work, he's one of the best at BBL and I trust him more than anyone else to do an amazing job and keep me safe from complications. I met with him BEFORE I had my baby about 2 years ago. I went back to his office last week AFTER my baby and he said, "you gained the weight" lol. Its not the kind of weight I wanted to gain but at my first consultation he wanted me to gain at least 15 lbs. I am now 20 lbs over my normal weight. I used to be 117 at 5'2 , now I am 135.... I also got a lot of stretch marks from my pregnancy.... But I told him I don't want a tummy tuck. Maybe later on in life, but not right now. I had a c section buy my scar is very low and healed really well. I am 30 years old and only have one baby. He was born March this year. I am doing my BBL in September. I will post pics of my Before my baby, after my baby and after my BBL . I also am treating my stretchmarks with different treatments such as microneedling, Retin A, dry exfoliation and laser.

i hope you have better luck then me...we have similar body stats...i am your height and gained a little over 20 lbs for the bbl...(132lbs) he only got 240cc per side...used 60cc for each hip ugh. i look the same now that all swelling has gone down. and i am still 132 lbs! he also gave me a lot of irregularities. bad scar placements....not trying to bum you out or scare you, but you should make sure he knows what you want and that your expectations are met. he thought he could get 300cc per side BEFORE i gained another 8 lbs. :(

Hi hun, who did you end up going with?? Because my post says Dr Bruno but at the very last minute (I mean very very last) I went with Dass. I'm sorry to hear that. I feel like I'm not sure if I got what I wanted either, but it's only been three days and he said don't even look at it for a few weeks because it's going to look weird. So I'm trying to listen but it's kind of hard.... Did you get massages or anything following the surgery?

oh, yes, i went with bruno. how many cc's did dass give you? considering dass for revise, but scared still. are you just not liking the shape? i did get massage but not for a couple weeks...didn't help. dass doesn't recommend them... i have always wondered if the way dass leaves incisions open helps with all the swelling...because that is what hurts so bad...let me know how many cc's you got...very interested in that!

He didn't tell me after the surgery how much he got in. Before the surgery he said I was small so about 900 cc . Doesn't seem that big but I'll let you know after I go to my post op appointment

Congratulations with your new baby!!! Hope all is well with the both of you. I had my baby 7 months ago but it sure feels like yesterday lol !! I also have stretch marks on my lower stomach and I'm treating them with light chemical peels. I think you look great for having given birth two months ago!!! About the tummy tuck, I am planning on getting one once I'm done having kids. So far I only have 1 babygirl but id like to have 3 more kids in the future so getting a tummy tuck now is pointless. I think I'm only going to get a mini tummy tuck because my tummy isn't super stretched but I did notice loose skin below my belly button. Anyway, happy for you that you've decided to do this! Thanks hun! And yeah, just wait on the TT . Believe it or not after my c-section the pain of this surgery wasn't as bad as I expected. Don't get me wrong though! It's very uncomfortable doing anything, everyday things. Sleeping, peeing, walking... And to not sit for 2 months.... You really need a good caretaker, especially if you have kids. Congrats on your decision. I had mine done 6/19 with Dr. Bruno. So far all is going well. One thing that I can say is that I did not have any complications. I'm still healing from the incisions, but he is very careful and I didn't get any irregularities, lumps, or areas of concern. I had lipo pretty much everywhere since I didn't have a lot of fat. He did lipo me a lot from the back area. The only thing I can say is to express to him that you want aggressive lipo in your stomach unless you are getting a tt. Overall I'm happy with my results this far.

I went to him last year & I look the same...... I made sure I showed pics & let him know what I wanted but still not the results I wanted. I felt I wasted $8500 on nothing. Now I'm going for a revise

Embalmer9111, sorry to hear that you didn't see the results you expected. Is he doing the revision ? Or are you going to another surgeon?

I'm going to dr. Dass or dr. Duran. Don't get me wrong he is a good doctor but it seems he do not want to go over 450cc. Paying $8500 I should not still have back fat & I should see some kind of difference. Mary that work in his office got her butt done from him & you can see the difference in hers. But she also said she was total flat back there so 450cc made a huge difference in her

He gave me 320cc but mind you I had booty when I came so that didn't make a difference in my ass

Serious!?? He put 1000 in each side on me! I only wanted 500 :/ but I'm glad he gave me more because now almost a year later it looks great

Dr Dass will put in what you want. If you want it big, he will put as much as he can get and he is very aggressive with lipo. I told his I wanted my love handles aggressive and when I took off my garment to wash off it was so tiny I got scared. I will post pics when I take it off next time. I am trying to leave it on as much as possible
