I had lipo of my lower abs and flanks back in 2006, by Dr. Youn in Troy. After i was left with a bumpy stomach. The bumps were not as noticeable when my weight was 10lbs lighter. .. but they were definitely still there. I also have my left handle, noticeably bigger then my right. I realize that our bodies are not perfectly symmetrical, but it's pretty obvious.

I went to see dr. Wolf after reading a review on rs sexylegs4321. Sexylegs4321 had her full abs, flanks, lower back and bra line done 6 months prior to me for 3500, but i think she was a returning patient. I was quoted 3900 for an ab and flank redo to try to help even it out and lipo on my back. I really wanted a bbl, so the fat could be transferred to my butt. However, i don't think he offers it, but planning on asking at my preop.

Im hoping the quote i got will cover my upper abs, as they have never been touched. He said when he does abs he usually does both top and bottom in the price, so that the results will be even. .. but not sure about what i was quoted for redo? I'm also not totally sure what i was quoted for on the love handles, because on the sheet it says left redo, but I'm hoping the quote is for both love handles. .. just more on the left! !! Im planning on talking to him about this all at the preop next week.

Hi, I will be very excited to hear how you like your revision. I too had lipo of my love handles after a TT with Dr. Youn. Well.... where to begin. It was totally botched and now I am over a year later and many revisions and he refuses to do anymore to fix it and I am still very unhappy. I don't think he is very skilled with lipo. He seems to blame it on my body and me being too thin. My tummy tuck line also goes up in the center and it really bothers me. I am considering a scar revision and some additional lipo in my tummy because he would not do it there. In hind site, this is a good thing as he probably would have messed it up. I also still have a lot of issues with the other areas he lipoed being uneven. Please keep us posted!

By the way, I can't find anything on line that says Dr Wolf is a Board Cert PS. Is he?

Hello! This is the first time I have ever commented on a post on Real Self, but as I read your post I was thinking if you had looked into a consultation with Dr. Vasileff of Birmingham, Michigan. I had two procedures done by him (20!) years ago and the results are still amazing after all these years, weight fluctuations and, of course, gravity. My brother had facial reconstructive surgery done by Dr. Vasileff after my brother had a severe car accident that quite literally ripped all the skin from his face. Dr. Vasileff happened to be working in the E.R. at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak that night and saved my brother's very handsome face. I went to him for abreast reduction and facial contouring which required liposuction. I hold him in the highest regard because not only is he an amazing surgeon, but he is so kind, personable, humorous, pragmatic and he makes you feel great about yourself no matter what...but his staff is so kind, professional, courteous, down-to-earth and they respect your privacy and are extraordinarily helpful. Working with him was such a joy, considering it was surgery! I would recommend him first to anyone in the Detroit area (or anywhere, for that matter, who is thinking about getting cosmetic surgery. I live in Phoenix now and have consulted with a highly recommended surgeon here for liposuction on my thighs and a lower neck/face lift and I was blown away by what a different experience it was between Dr. Vasileff and the doctor in Phoenix. I lived in Los Angeles for over a decade as well, and though I did not have any procedures done (I didn't want to, because I liked the way I looked thanks to Dr. Vasileff) but I know from friends telling me about their doctors and various procedures, that Dr. Vasileff is truly one very special doctor and also, a very special man. Ultimately, it is the results that matter, and he is top-notch and you would se amazing results in my opinion with him, no doubt. What's more, however, you would most likely love the experience of working with him and his staff and be doubly pleased by the experience because of the kind of people they are. I treasure my experience with him twenty years later, and I never thought about flying back to Detroit for getting these new procedures, but I am seriously considering it because I trust him so much. Anyway, I wish you the utmost success with your surgery and I hope you absolutely love your results no matter what doctor you end up deciding upon. That's what it is all about, right? Being pleased with the results and happy with the overall experience? I think we deserve both: a wonderful bedside manner, as it used to be called, and a superb doctor who will give you masterful results that will leave you happy for years to come. I realize that for me, that came in one amazing package: Dr. Vasileff in Birmingham, Michigan. I am in no way affiliated with him or his office, but I am just a 42-year old woman who realizes that I should share my experience to others in the area. I recommend him above anyone else.

I Am not sure if they provide anything, but i have ordered a compression top, waist quincher, arnica pills and cream, scar gel, and silicone scar sheets.

I heard people getting medical foam or an an board. Is it important and can i use any foam or it has to be medical foam?

I don't know anything about medical foams or boards, but I do know that compression and lots of bed rest is extraordinarily helpful in achieving your bet results. Arnica cream and pills, as well as calendula cream saved my face from a horrific 3rd degree burn I acquired from sun-bathing in San Diego many years ago...I never believed homeopathic medicine would help such a severe case but it was simply astounding at helping heal and save my skin quite rapidly. You are to be commended on everything you've done to prepare for the recovery time after your procedure...I wish you a healthy, speedy and happy recovery and experience.
