I've been wanting to get my lips done for a while...
I've been wanting to get my lips done for a while now. I don't dislike my lips. They have a nice shape and decent fullness but I will be honest and say that Instagram has influenced me quite a bit and has caused me to desire a little something extra. I saved up for a while and decided to go through with it after going with afriend to her own appointment and got to watch and ask questions. The lady that did my injection went with Juvederm Ultra Plus because she feels there is a little less swelling compared with other brands. I was going to do just half of a syringe but ended up getting a full one because of what was required. I wanted a more natural look. I wanted the question to be "did she get her lips done?" instead of "where did she get her lips done?"... Iam a very low maintenance person; get my hair cut occasionally, don't color my hair, occasionally wear makeup (even when I do, it's pretty natural). I wanted most of the product in my upper lip with just a smidgen in my bottom, but I also wanted some in the bottom corners of my bottom lip to help lift them a little (if I have an expressionless look, my lips turn down slightly, so I just wanted them to be straight, not upturned). Of course on top of that, my bottom lip was quite uneven (naturally), so she had to balance it out. Apparently I was a bit of a "bleeder" hehe. It feels like I was punched in the mouth lol. The actual injection wasn't that bad (we used topical lidocaine to numb first, but to be honest I think I may be better off without it for next time). I was told that it can take up to two weeks to see final result. Other than that it's not too bad, just a bit of swelling and a teeny tiny bruise on the inside of my top lip. Iam not too sure what they will look like in the morning. I will update again later. Before picture was from a few days ago, after picture is about 10 hours later. If u want to know the name of the lady that did it, please private message me (she's not a doctor/nurse, so I would rather not put her name up).

She did a great job. She isn't exactly the "warmest" person I've met but she got the job done and Iam pleased with results thus far. If the end results are to my liking, then I will definitely go back to see her!
