Im a 42 Year Old Male That Underwent a Tummy Tuck and Muscle Repair After over 100lbs of Weight- Loss

WORTH IT$7,100
I saw Dr. Michael Gray for consultations on two different occasions. The first time he recommended lipo in my stomach and flanks prior to having a Tummy tuck. I left there and went back to working out hard and continued trying lose additional fat in both areas to achieve the best results as possible. When I went back a 15 months later his recommendation changed. He said at that time I wouldn't need lipo in my stomach area but would still recommend lipo in the flanks. He said by performing lipo in my stomach area he would be "taking my money"....His price went down $2100.00 from the first consultation.
I felt very comfortable with his knowledge and his staff especially Viola. He provided me two options, Tummy Tuck or Mini Tuck after I lost over 100 pounds of weight. Ultimately, I asked him "What do you recommend"? He gave me the pros and cons for both but I went with his recommendation of a full Tummy Tuck and muscle repair.
Needless to say I'm extremely happy with my results. I'm only 3 weeks post op and everyday things are looking better and better. I believe he has the eye and an artistic hand to perform these surgeries.
If I was reviewing Dr's and going through this processes again, I would recommend three things.
1) Put in the work and get to your best prior to surgery. This will let you achieve the best results.
2) Go with your intuition after your consultation with your Dr (I'm glad I did with Dr Gray).
3) Do exactly what the Dr says.

Congratulations!!!! def looks awesome, i had a body lift after 150 lbs weight loss, its been 3 weeks so far, and i have to say that it has been really tough! more than i thought it would be, anyways, did you get any complications after surgery?, serumas?

I had some fluid still draining from one spot of my incision site that started after they pulled my drainage tubes last Friday. I also have a possible seroma but I saw my Dr yesterday he said it was nothing to be concerned about at this time! Other than that, I'm a little sore but I went back to work. I still try to limit twisting, turning and bending. Hope all is well with you.

Wow!! You look great.
How much recovery time did you need? I'm going for my consult with Dr Gray for the same procedure
I don't have much to remove
Pouch below belly button that won't go away.
Thanks.

I was moving around pretty good after a couple of days. The pain wasn't as bad as I thought.
I can't work out for 8 weeks. He told me if I had the mini I could work out after 4 weeks.
I had a full tuck. If you have less than skin to remove you might be able to get a mini tuck. Good luck!
