DR AYMAN SHAHINE performed liposuction and a tummy tuck on me, one week ago. This is what it looks like right now. I don't know if it will get any better than this. We will see with time. He was very nice and took his time. He assured me with time it would get better and firmer. I hope it does because it looks and feels a little awkward right now.

Welcome to the community.  Give this some healing time before making any final decisions.  Swelling the first 6 weeks post op can be insane!    Keep an eye on it and be patient.  Take photos every week and compare to the previous weeks.

30 days after liposuction and tummy tuck

My stomach went down a lot. However, I still have a lot of loose skin and a bulge along the cut, with some puffiness. I know it is still going to take some time to heal. I'm patiently waiting for the ending results. Stay tuned...

Looking good so far! I am in the same boat as you, waiting to see the final results. We must learn to be patient. I know I have to keep reminding my self. LOL. Happy healing.

They say it takes a few months to heal and see the full results. I'm getting cavi lipo treatments, weekly now to tighten my loose stomach skin. Everything keeps falling back out of place every time I take my compression garment off :(

MY 7 WEEK POST OP PHYSICAL WITH MY PRIMARY CARE PHYSICIAN.

User Avatar

Today, I went to my primary care doctor for a post op physical to make sure everything on the inside of my stomach is OK and healing properly. She is so happy for me when I tell her what I did. She advises me to take everything off, put on the examination gown and she will be right back to examine me. When she comes in she continues to tell me how a few other ladies, went other places, some out of the country and how beautiful they sculptured them. When she looks at my liposuction and tummy tuck, she is in total disbelief and shock!!! The first thing she says is, "your stomach looks like you just gave birth to a baby and you got a c section. I still have my flanks, loose skin in the front of my stomach and a few bulges of fatty tissue under my left breast on top of my rib cage and on the top of each side of my back. I just thought it was a knot or swelling because of the procedure and would go down eventually. I was still in my compression garment and yoga mat Dr Ayman Shahine advised to continue to wear and i will heal fine. She then goes on to say that, "I shouldn't have a need for a yoga mat or compression garment if i paid for a proper surgical procedure to be done". None of those women was advised the same aftercare and healed fine in 2-3 weeks. I feel like an idiot walking around in a yoga mat, night and day waiting for some miracle to just happen. My stomach is still numb and sore, so now i gotta get a stomach sonogram too. I feel bad because it was my choice to go to this doctor. So i have no one else to blame for this but myself!! I went to him over the rest of the doctors because he is cheaper and giving fast appointments, yeah i was in a rush to get this done be fore the summer. My sister told me the other day to stop telling people i got a tummy tuck because it doesn't even look like it, YET. Yeah I went home and cried in private, because I don't have any more money out to pay to fix it. OVERALL, Dr Ayman Shahine is a very nice man, with a large clientele still. I called the office to talk to him about this and see what he is willing to do help fix this. I don't know if they gave him the message or not. I will keep you all posted.

I am so sorry hunny. I hope since then the doc decided to help u and fix his malpractice. Please give me a update.

see, it's not a matter of malpractice because in all reality, he is only a gyn. my stepmother went to her gyn to get a tummy tuck and had to have it revised a year later. the results are never the same. let it heal, take your time, it looks nice but ok, it could be better. work on getting something done perhaps after 6 months? pray on it.
