1 month Before starting Invisalign/ 32 weeks with invisalign
5 years later i decided to go back and get the treatment done with Dr Petrover. Im a college student/server that didn't really have the time to post any reviews last semester about my procedure. Before getting Invisalign my family and friends always told me not to do that. They said that Invisalign would not straighten my teeth like braces, that braces were my best option and were not as expensive. What motivated me about Invisalign the most was that they were invisible and i could take them off to eat. Everything was done in a matter of an hour or two, they took impressions of each individual teeth and after Dr. Petrover basically went over everything he was going to do. I knew doing Invisalign could be a challenge but Dr. Petrover reassured me that he was going to do it. I was going to have to wear 4 elastics, 2 for my cross bite and the other 2 to bring 2 of my canines down. One of my canines was way up and you'll be able to see it in my pic. Unfortunately this are the only pictures i have before i started the treatment. I apologize if they're horrible. The second picture is Invisalign on, no elastics. I still do wear the elastics, 24hrs the ones that are for my crossbite which are not noticeable and 12hrs for the ones that are bringing down my canines, so usually at night, but i try to wear them for longer periods of time if I'm not working. Acceledent plays a huge part in my Invisalign treatment, I've been changing trays every week instead of every two weeks. And trust me when i tell you, it does work! and its worth the investment if you want to cut your treatment time in half. I know first hand that it works because if you don't do it every day for 20 minutes your next tray will not fit. I went without doing my Acceledent for 4 days and i had to keep the same tray on for almost another week because i forgot to bring it with me on vacation. But besides that time i have not missed a single day without it. It also helps with any discomfort when you're starting a new tray as well, which was a plus. I have never taken any advil or medication since i started the treatment because of pain or discomfort. Right now I'm on tray 32/43 and im pleased with the results so far.
Since i was a teen, i knew i was going to need...
Since i was a teen, i knew i was going to need braces. I never took a step into getting them, when i was 19 i decided go to an orthodontist for a consult. Walked into a very welcomed office staff, they took their time with me and explained the options i had. Out of all the options, there was this option that i felt very attracted to, which was Invisalign. After telling them i had to figure out how i was gonna pay for it before i started treatment, i never went back.
