Reviews you can trust, from real people like you.
How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.
If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

I was hollowing due to age and Fraxel at a place called Advanced Laser in MA (don't go to Medi Spas for anything other than a facial).
I went to 5 different doctors. Only two identified the problem of dark circles as hollowing and only one was a board certified plastic surgeon.
After $1,000 in consult fees, I chose Dr. Jeannie Chung in Wellesley. My time, research and effort was rewarded by this choice. She is not only gifted, she is professional, confident and did not sell me anything. She did her fellowship at the same place as Dr. Sam Lam who is popular on this site. She also was recognized in Academia for having a strong sense of ethics, which matters in this profession. Her office made me completely comfortable at every stage.
After 6 days, I only had a tiny bruise left. Amazing results. I know Dr. Chung is not profiled on this site, but after my results, I can see why she doesn't need to advertise. She is just awesome at her profession.
I am not getting paid to do this review and will not post pics- I'm a male. I'm just grateful for having expectations exceeded. You can see tons of before/after pics at her office.
I also prepared a ton by taking arnica, bromelain, zinc, vitamin C, bioflavonoids, cyruta plus, pyconogenol, vitamin D and K before and after the graft. I used Prevedem for two weeks prior. I applied arnica gel as well for a week before and until all signs of bruising were gone. I made a lot of protein smoothies with fresh pineapple and also added organic pumpkin powder to help swelling. I iced 30 minutes every other hour for the first few days. I took several showers on hot for 10'minutes and then finished on cold cold for as long as I could take it (this clears blood from the bruise as it rushes to the heart).
Other topicals were Auriderm (Vitamin K), white cabbage poultice and Comfrey poultice. What seemed to really help was light walking to drain the lymphatic system (1,000) steps will do.
I'm 35, in good health and did not need a ton injected. We did 3 CCs on each side.
Days 1-4 were about the same for the swelling. Day 5 it started coming down and looked marvelous at 1 week and continues to. There was some minor yellowing at 1 week and a tiny blue spot/bruise under 1 eye. Light make up and eye glasses completely hid this at day 6. Nobody noticed.
I also drank lots of water and stuck to proteins and vegetables like spinach and kale.
One other Ayurvedic herb I took internally and externally was Manjistha. It is a blood purifier and can help with bruises by clearing out stagnant blood.
I can't tell you how happy I am with Dr. Chung. She worked fast, but had a great demeanor the whole time and she and her staff members Julie and Jennie really calmed me down before the procedure.
If I knew it wasn't such a big deal, I would have done this a lot sooner.
But I owe myself some credit. I did my research on this. Dr. Chung is the only one who recommended fat transfer. She said: "If you were a movie star and had the times and $, I'd tell you that you should definitely start with the fat graft."
I'm happy to answer questions, but won't engage any trolls. I spent over a year reading reviews on this site and others. I was sick of being told I looked tired. I did something about it after careful research. I'm content and glad I trusted my instinct by choosing Jeannie Chung. She is everything you want in a Doctor.

Provider Review
Highly skilled, highly trained, double board certified, teaches at Harvard etc.... She was engaged, professional and confident, but didn't pump herself up or come off ass TOO congenial. Her wait times can drag on, but now I know why. Her time is in demand for a reason.
