I can’t describe how life changing this has been for me. I’m down to a size medium in shirts from barley fitting a xxl. Weirdest thing, if I eat too much not only do I get hiccups but also stuffy nose and begin sneezing for about 10mins, as if I was getting a cold. Still scared to get loose skin but the last 20 have been coming off slowly and continuing but not much loose skin, I could be better about taking vitamins and collagen tho. It is harder to maintain my muscle mass but that’s a given when you think about not consuming as much protein as before. If I do t go to the gym I’ll drop half a pound of muscle in a week easily. You have to be very conscious of what you consume. I’ll work on my feet 10-16 hours daily and still have energy. Snoring gone and sleep is a lot better to where I really don’t need to sleep 8 hours as my rem sleep is higher. I’m down 85 lbs and physically I feel amazing. Life has thrown me curve balls (nasty divorce, custody battle and all) so can’t say much about my mental health as that has taken a toll but still not in a deep depression as I have felt before. I could be better about the gym, vitamins, chewing my food more, protein intake, quality of food but I just feel so damn good I don’t best myself up about it. If your in the fence, do it! Best thing that I did for myself.

I had my wls in March 2019. Gastric sleeve. It was definitely hard t the beginning but I have managed to reverse my type2 diabetes and lower my high blood pressure. Binge eating was definitely my issue. This clinic in Tijuana was truly professional and listened to me when I voiced my opinions and issues. I have to admit that I am relatively low maintenance and fluently speak Spanish but never saw anyone being treated differently. It’s now June 2019 and I am down 52lbs, down 6.3% body fat, and down to 34.1 BMI from 41.7. Half way through my goals only about three full months post op. I do workout and have a very active job at a restaurant. I cannot stress how hard it is at the beginning. I had a lot of life thrown at me and my normal food comfort was not there, but it’s how everyone else said. You have to retrain yourself especially how you treat food in your everyday life.

Hello everyone
You are doing fantastic, but you were an absolute diva prior to surgery, I love to see that. You will be absolutely successful and I wish you the best, God bless
