Read my updated review. Not happy at all - Webster, TX

I had always been self conscious about the profile of my nose. I would always turn my head and try to conceal the hump of my nose. It really bothered me. I would hate to see pictures of me showing my profile or would avoid pictures at all. It was already hurting me not to want myself included in pictures with my children. It took me a long time to finally take the courage to do this change. I consulted many surgeons before but they would see me just was as what I was: a customer not a patient. When I got to Dr. Athre's office I was really impressed by the way the staff treated me and I was also impressed that Dr. Athre didn't make me wait and he was ready for our meeting on time. He answered all my questions and listened to what I wanted. He listened and took the time to really talk and listen addressing all my questions. Great experience I had vs. other doctors who only spend 10 minutes and leave you with so many questions. Well that same day I felt that I had found the right surgeon and I did. Four days later my surgery was done. I am very happy with the results and even though my nose still swollen a bit one week after the procedure I am so happy, probably the happiest ever. I feel so complete and totally confident about myself. I thank God for helping me find the right doctor.

After my surgery and after the first couple months I started seeing deformities in my nose. When I shower the water comes inside my nose through the skin where the hump I had before was located so I always feel like drowning when taking a shower.
Since he performed an open nose surgery the scars inside my nose didn’t heal properly thus one nostril is deformed and drops more than the other. The tip of my nose looks horribly droopy and has a pollybeak look.

Please look for another surgeon and don’t waste your money in this novice doctor! As I see in other reviews he has done similar mistakes to other patients, so why risk it!
