2 months-ish

So the exercise is working out ok as long as I don't do anything requiring contracting my ab muscles. I get pulled muscle feelings (not necessarily when working out), one especially to the right of my belly button. It bugs me. Also the right lower quadrant of my abs is continually swollen. It has never completely gone down since week 1 post op. I guess thats normal. Or im just weird, whatever... i'm still hoping the redNess fades in my scars. I know it will, but I want it NOW. (I know, Veruca Salt attitude.) I don't want to be all excited to wear a bikini in the summer only to be bummed and embarassed about the belly button. Flanks are still not where I want them to be. Still flabulous. Better, but not gone.

Is it sad to say I'm just OVER this recovery?! I know I could have had it much worse, but I want to feel like ME again. Literally, i want to feel my skin and not be all numb and odd. Ok, so I'm being whiny. Feel free to tell me to shut up.

These are my pics from tonight.

Exercise - Love/Hate!

I have jogged three times since Jan 1, done one spin class, one bodypump class, and a kickboxing/aerobic class tonight. I'm definitely wanting to space out the workouts for now.

After the first jog, I felt tightness in my abdomen and was a little sore. It improved over the next day or so. I felt good after the bodypump class and the spin class, no ill effects on the abs. I was, however, quite certain I needed a motorized wheelchair from being so out of shape. My legs were stiffffff. So the next day I jogged again to try and work out that soreness. I felt a slight burn in my muscle near my pubic bone on my right sidea so I cut that jog short and rested. All thought of that jog helping the soreness dissipate was worthless. I'm quite certain it exacerbated the issue and I walked around like a stick figure who couldn't bend at the knees today. Tonight I stuck it out for the kickboxing/aerobics. I felt some pulling in the abs and I sat out of the ab workout they did as well as the stretching that really pulled on the ol ab-eroos. We'll see what pain tomorrow holds. I felt like I did pull some of the muscles a little so I put on the spanx after my shower for a little support tonight. I'm assuming all of these feelings are normal and I'm not tearing anything up?!

Hope to hear how things are going for everyone else!
