I haven't posted in awhile I'm 5 months post op and I starting to feel more like my old self again. I'm still trying Y to get use to the upper breast fullness. I'm loving my new look. I am a full D cup which I'm fine with since I originally wanted a full c.

You look amazing!! So full!!! What did you start off at? I was a 32a and got a BA years ago with 304cc and just got a revision to 450 three days ago and I feel so small!! Hoping they fill out a lot as they drop and fluff. I am so afraid I went too small with my revision!

Hi Hollyglight, Thank you. I was a 34a before my BA. I went the mentor moderate plus 450cc. I measured a 34DD but I buy 36D for the comfort. I am very happy with my results. I need to post some updated pics, I am not riding so high any more and they feel more natural now.

8 Weeks post op

User Avatar

I cannot beleive it's been 8 weeks since my surgery. I'm feeling really good and the mudslide tightness is starting to get less and less. My nerves are kicking in overtime and my nipples are getting their sensation back which I'm really excited about. I was released with no restrictions and started running again. Will take some getting use to with the bouncing. ???????????????????? loving my new self!!!!

Thank you, by week three I started to drop. My PS told me not to wear a bra at all. I'm really loving the really natural look. No one can tell I had anything done which was the look I was going for.

I am having the boobie blues again. I feel like I am too small. Its talking forever for the whole drop and settle to take place. I am gonna wait one year and if I don't see any progress I am going back again may be this time I will be bold and ask for more!! Lol

Hang in there, I had the boob i.e. Blues my first few weeks. I was very emotional and regretting my decision every time I looked in the mirror. As my swelling went down and the girls started drop it felt so much better. I do not expect much more dropping and fluffing. I do continue to massage every day. Do you have any pictures posted. We're always so critical of yourselves and your results may look really good. When I meet with my PS I was originally looking to get 350cc and she advised that I would loss about 10% of volume since I did indeed, so I went with the 450cc and I'm a full D cup unlined.

Thank you for the encouraging words. When I tried I liked 397cc but on the morning of my surgery I felt so shy and afraid that 397 would look to huge and fake on me so I begged my PS to not to make me look big! So he gave me 390 to the right and 360 to the left. Now I look so deformed and small. I feel depressed and hating myself to asking him not to make me look too big! All the ps here and my own ps are advising me to give it a more time...but this waiting is taking a toll on me emotionally. I just want them to drop so that I can decide what do I really want. I have to wait a year to go for an exchange I think so either way I am just have to deal with this emotional turmoil until I can really see the final result. I am gonna post some pictures and you will see how horrible and deformed I look.

You are still riding really high, Mine looked like that also. Every time I looked in the mirror I wanted to cry because mine were sitting so close to my collar bone. They we're riding really high and my nipples also pointed down. Continue to be patient and do your massages and follow your PS directions I promise they will start to look better. You're still early in the post op stage. By your third month you should start to see a difference. The bottom portion will start to fluff and become fuller. Make sure you massage the bottom if that's were your incision was. You want to make sure you do not start forming to much scar tissue before they actually drop.

Thank you so much for your kind words and wisdom. I have been so traumatized with this whole ordeal, I went from this happy person to this most depressed person after having my BA, my mood just took a 360 degree turn. I had my incision around my areolas, they are well healed. I have been suffering from hypersensitivity on my nipples but its getting better. I do hope the implants drop well, I just can't see myself staying disfigured like this forever. Right now I am going bra less, it's another issue too, I am so limited to the tops/dresses I can wear as my nipples sticks out and shows!! ( So embarrassing!). I think all ps need to discuss with their patients that recovery from BA is a long process, well mine was written in a documents I had to sign but its my fault I never read it prior to surgery, which would have helped me with my expectations after surgery and I would have been prepared emotionally. I never thought body modification can make someone depressed! I thought I would just wake up with two beautiful perky boobs and be happy! Never knew I would look so deformed and it would take another three plus months to see the final results. Btw when did you start bra shopping? Did you get fitted by a professional bra fitter? I googled today and tried to measure my size! It seems to me my band is 31 and cup size is D!! But mind you my implants are still riding high and I am swollen, so it may not be correct. Oh boy so annoying you have to wait this long! I was even planning when I should have my exchange with a bigger implants!! Lolol Then again I have to go through this annoying lengthy process all over again.... Sigh. Keep us posted with any new finding of your journey... Thanks again ..:)

You should get the adhesive petal tops. You can order them from Amazon, there about $9 for a pack of five. There adhesive pasties to cover you nipples when going bra less. I didn't wear a bra for four months. I still wear them from time to time when I wear my camisoles and cardigans to work. I didn't start wear a bra until after 3 months. I did get a professional measurements from a bra store in my area.I told them that I started with a 36B. I didn't go with the 34DD they suggested it was just way to tight. I went with what was comfortable for me so I went with a 36 D. I love the unwired and unlined bras. You should also look into the camisole with the self bras that gives a light more coverage but not much.

What a great idea! Ty! I am going to order those pasties! I have been using cotton rounds and they sometimes fall off...lolol I am kind of liking the idea of going bra less. I hated those underwire super padded add-a-cup bra's! Oh man two more months to go....such a long time...I can't wait anymore...lol I will not buy too many bra's right off the bat, just in case I really hated my boobs and wanted to go for an exchange. But waiting three plus months is just a killer!

Ocean72 that's great news it will be a lot easier to go Bradley's with them. Consider them your new best friend. You should start to see a difference in about 3 weeks just remember to massage every day

Even though my ps didn't tell me to massage but I am doing it anyway!! But I won't tell him lolol. Its crazy if I have to wait 3-6 months for the nature to do its work.... Can you imagine I have go bra less looking like a body builder with bulging pec muscles even through Christmas... Thats scary!! Lolol

You will start to drop a little by your 4th week if you're braless 24/7. It takes a little while for all the swelling and muscle tightness to go way. You will see a difference. Start doing the 3-4 finger test. I was told that I should measure between my collar bone and implants using my fingers. I started with only one finger, I know have 3 fingers lengths between my collar bone and implants.

Hi! Do you ever feel like yours are too wide and flat? I do and want to exchange for larger size like 750/800ccs and high profile and Allergans Natrelle style 20 or 45 which is high profile and ultra high profile respectively or the new Inspiras to give me most projection, cleavage and volume. Im 500cc Mentor mod plus unders silicone. I regret using Mentor again:( was curious to hear your thoughts.

Hi J, I love the way my implants look. When I did my try ons I choose the moderate plus because the high profiles looked really fake. I also have wider hips and the small side boob just added to my curves, I must say the side boob is taking done getting use to done I had nothing before. I was going for the modest look not to small and not to big and not to noticeable. I've accomplished all my goal, the only new clothes I had to purchase were bras. Do you have pics?
