My story began 25 years ago. I had a very large benign tumor removed from my right breast and it left me practically concave on that side. I wore a 32A at a time when large breasts were coveted, so I had silicone implants placed above the muscle and loved them. I was now in a full C cup. Fast forward 17 years and I had developed severe capsular contracture and another large tumors had developed in my left breast. I went to several PS consults and went with removing the implants and capsule and replaced with teardrop shaped Allergan 410s, 420cc. I wanted to be smaller and to my horror I was much much larger. A 34DD and much too large on my petite 5'3 tiny frame. I'm a hygienist and leaning over patients all day and these implants were heavy. I suffered back, neck, shoulder pain, tingling and numbness in my extremities, depression, anxiety, the list goes on and on. After 8 years carrying these "dumbbells " around, I began searching for a new PS that would listen to my concerns and give me an honest opinion about my choices and possible outcomes. After much research, I found Dr Moliver! I just had my implants removed 2 days ago and I feel like a 20 something again! He removed the implants, the capsule, wrapped me up tight and I went home to recover. I'm very sore, still swollen, but am so very happy to have those things go out of me. The implants were removed in his surgical suite under general anesthesia and I don't believe I'm going to need a lift. They aren't the perky perfect boo s of a 20 year old but I'm 50 and they are age appropriate. A good support bra will do just fine and Dr. Moliver' nurse thinks I should be about a C cup as I've gained weight over the years. I can't say enough about how kind and professional Dr Moliver and his staff are! His anesthesiologist was such a comfort to me when I was going In to the OR crying. Wally, his nurse is so patient in answering I'm sure we're some of the most ridiculous questions she'd ever heard! And Dr. Moliver made me feel so safe and he did an amazing job. After having implants half of my life, I knew I might look like an alien. He did an incredible job!

I am so very very happy I had my huge implants removed. The morning after removal, my throat was very sore and my entire chest was puffy! Turns out it was just swelling and went down completely within 2 days. Also turns out I had more than enough breast tissue. I was a 34DD with implants and am now a full 32C! Dr. Moliver gave me back my fully intact implants and they are heavy. No wonder I was having neck, shoulder, and back pain! I feel fantastic now. Not all of my crazy problems have disappeared but I feel so much better about myself. My breasts are not perky or perfect but they are perfect for me and that's exactly what I wanted. My husband says they're perfect. I feel so free and comfortable now; I don't feel the need to cover up and hide. My clothes fit...no more bulging buttons! I encourage everyone reading this to follow your heart. Don't listen to those telling you the scary stories and just placing fear in you. Find a good surgeon and go for it! Praying the very best for you all!
