Best Thing I Ever Did! - Wayne, PA

I have always been unhappy with the aging process and what it had done to my face. I am a 67 yr. old woman and the jowl area of my face was sagging. When I would look in the mirror and "lift" my skin up, as well as pull the skin on my face back, I was very pleased with the look. I went to see Dr. Jonathan Pontell in Wayne, PA for a consult. He was very honest and said I might get the look I want by using fillers in my face, as opposed to getting a facelift. I appreciated his honesty, and especially the fact that he was not trying to "sell me" the more expensive way of getting the look I wanted. I did try some fillers and there was definitely an improvement, however I did not like the fact that this was something I would have to keep up with for maintenance. Also, I wanted my skin pulled back, and fillers cannot do that. About a year later I returned to Dr. Pontell for a consult and discussed my concerns. Again, he was very honest with me and did not try to "push" me to get a facelift. Shortly after that I decided that I wanted something done that would be permanent and not require maintenance, We discussed what bothered me about my look and what I wanted to achieve. I decided to have the facelift. Dr. Pontell is an excellent plastic surgeon and genuinely cares about the patient. I would highly recommend him to anyone that is considering a facelift. In the past month I saw my gynecologist on two separate occasions - - I had previously told her when I had planned the surgery. Both times I saw her she was really amazed at how fantastic I looked and she is now seriously considering seeing Dr. Pontell for the same procedure. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is considering a facelift.
