Almost 7 months later and my results are just awful

For the amount of money i paid i could have gotten a complete face-lift, i trusted my doctor but my doctor treated me as a second class citizen. The pictures don't lie, you can see what a mess of a so called neck lift i received. I'm extremely disappointed.

I feel so bad for you, that is why I researched and read all the reviews before I picked a PS I would not have had the surgery if he was not going to have completed it himself he needs to go back and fix you since it is his fault that this happen

Oh my! Have you discussed this with your doctor? I would definitely schedule an appointment with him immediately. Let him see your results for himself! I can't believe any reputable surgeon would refuse to fix this for you. Good luck!

I think what I am going to do about my bad neck lift is to get the 2 platysmal (spelling?) muscles redone/sewn together again-since that failed totally the first time. That would be cheaper and would require just one scar under the chin to be reopened. I am also considering having any other places on my neck "tacked" up. Once I get the money.

Having a lower facelift with your necklift is what makes the difference. Just a neck lift in over 50's doesn't work as well. I wish you the best!

My surgeon used the 2 words interchangeably. When getting a necklift, the neck should become taut with jowl lines greatly diminished or gone. Most of the time, any sagging around the mouth is diminished or gone as well. There is no excuse for her necklift to come out this way. Wish mine hadn't as well.

At my consultation my doctor told me I was going to be very pleased with my results, if he felt I needed a facelift he should have mentioned it to me on my consultation. Instead he made promises that he didn't commit to. That's the whole purpose of a consultation

My former plastic surgeon, Dr. M. Godin, used the 2 terms interchangeably as well. My results were: a more saggy neck, still same sagginess around mouth, and not a firm-looking jowel line. Not only tons of money thrown away, but neck looks worse than before.

I am shocked at the incisions and scars that he left. That is an extremely lazy and obvious way of making the incision.

I will say that if you hadn't said you had a neck lift, I wouldn't think you look bad or anything. But you deserve better results. I hope you spoke to a lawyer.

HORRIBLE RESULTS AND A $11, 750 LOSS

N

Today is June 12th and I'm feeling extremely depressed and ashamed of my results. I'm on vacation celebrating my 35th wedding anniversary and instead of feeling good about myself I'm feeling quite down. I had planned this neck lift for over 6 year's and finally after working hard and saving for my neck lift my dreams have been ruined and I have a loss of $11, 750. This neck lift has caused me to look deformed. My left side is whobbly and my right side is tight, the results are awful and i feel cheated on. My self esteem has dropped and i look like a freak

I'm in the same boat 5 months after mine. Feel like I paid &12,000 for scars and if anything, my neck is worse-and yes, lopsided. It seems to me that surgeons need to use more permanent sutures for us older gals-perhaps that would solve the problem. Don't fret too much. I know how you feel, but we think others notice things that they don't. I am sure you can tell your surgeon how disappointed you are and how you worked hard and saved up for the necklift, and he will offer to do a revision. Some do a free revision and some charge you for only the anesthesiologist and nurse when doing a revision-all at least give big discounts for revisions. He can fix this, so don't despair-just make sure he and his staff know that you are crushed to have worked and saved up the money and how awful it looks, how horrible it makes you feel. Good luck and remember that a good heart and loving relationships are all that truly matter while waiting for the revision. Hugs!

Oh honey I'm so sorry. Please know that YOU should not be ashamed and it is not YOUR fault that you had a bad result. That is a tremendous loss financially and emotionally. I agree with the other comment that you need to speak with the surgeon and tell him how disappointed you are with the results. You have taken so many pictures and have documented things so in looking at the pictures he is sure to be able to see what you are talking about. I will pray he can do a revision for you. If not, could you consider thermage or ultherapy treatments to tighten the skin on your neck and rebuild collagen? I'm so sorry you're going through this. I hope it works out for you. Hugs.

Where are your scars exactly? I saw the incisions in front of your ears but do you have incisions going all the way up the back of your ears, too? You are very lucky not to have bruises.

Merry Christmas.
