Rhinoplasty and Chin Implant - BEST Decision Ever - Wayne, NJ

I have contemplated the decision to change my nose for the last 20+ years. I liked my nose, but never really loved it. I always felt like it was slightly to large for my face, and I never liked my profile. In fact, my profile was always my main issue with my nose. Over the last 5 years, I visited with a few different rhinoplasty surgeons. While their credentials were solid, I did not feel comfortable with their bedside manner. I did not connect with any of them.

Fast forward to November 2015. I had my first consultation with Dr. Ramtin Kassir. I had read a ton of reviews around his work and felt comfortable that he would be well experienced, given his triple board certification. When I met with him, I was within moments convinced that he was the right one to handle my rhinoplasty. My intuition and gut told me this - and anytime I follow it, I have yet to be disappointed. Dr. Kassir understood my concerns. He never ever pressured me to move forward. In fact, he told me that I would not be someone he would have selected for a rhinoplasty procedure. At the same time, he heard my concerns and consulted with me on how he could address them. I also inquired about a chin implant and Dr. Kassir agreed it could balance my face very well.

I scheduled my surgery for literally a month later. December 3, 2015 seemed so far away, and it finally arrived. I couldn't wait for Dr. Kassir to "fix" my nose and address my chin. Dr. Kassir's staff had prepped me very well on what to expect. I was very nervous, but more excited than anything else.

The Wayne surgical center is top notch. They prepped me as we waited for Dr. Kassir to begin surgery. I was out with anesthesia before I knew it. When I got out, my nose was wrapped and my chin was patched up with a bandage. Thanks to the pain medications, the idea of pain was a foreign concept.

The night after the surgery, I was breathing through my mouth the entire night. My nose was packed with cotton so the only way to breath was through my mouth. My mouth dried out quickly and I was drinking water approximately every 30 minutes that night. The next day, Dr. Kassir took out the cotton and I was breathing mostly through my nose again. No pain and I was taking Tylenol instead of the usual prescription pain medications which I could not handle. My experience from that point forward through the next 6 days was very positive. No pain - breathing through my nose - and unlimited excitement to have the cast removed on the 7th day.

I went in for my cast removal on the 7th day. Dr. Kassir's staff was very gentle when the removed the cast and the stitches from my chin. I could not wait to see the results. After everything was ready, I finally got to see the mirror. Unbelievable. My nose looked like my nose, except the bump was gone and it no longer drooped. It looked natural and like the nose I wanted and should have been born with.

Dr. Kassir is an artist. He is nothing short of a perfectionist. He knows what nose fits a face and he gave me a nose that I could finally love. My surgery was well worth the wait. My chin implant in conjunction with my rhinoplasty provided such balance to my face.

I would recommend Dr. Kassir to anyone. He does amazing work and listens to his patients. I will never let anyone else touch my face.
