I've always been flat chested. Then after breastfeeding three babies for the first year of their lives, what little I had got worse. I absolutely loved nursing my babies and the convenience of always having their meal ready and the bonding times with them. But after they weaned I missed having boobs! My youngest is 9 years old and I don't plan on having anymore babies.
This is something I've thought about doing since my second child was weaned 16 years ago. My boyfriend is supportive of my decision. Some of you reading this will understand that's important. I would still be doing this even if he wasn't on board but I'm glad he is.
As you can see in my pictures (yikes! Can't believe I'm putting these online and yikes! Can you see why with two previous marriages and my current relationship I rarely take my shirt off during sex and only if the lights are off. As for showering with my boyfriend.... It's not as good as it could be if I wasn't always cringing at the thought of him seeing these shriveled things on my chest.
Had my consultation on May 4th. It went pretty well. Haven't talked about size yet. Only decision so far is: mentor, silicone, round, smooth. Under the muscle (obviously because of my lack of breast tissue and boney looking chest). Had a rude reality check before leaving his office. At that point I was a smoker. About a pack a day... Ugh. Anyway he plainly stated that he refuses to complete surgery unless the patient is nicotine free for minimum 6 weeks. So the night of May 4th, before bed, I smoked my last cigarette. Freaked out in the morning, snapped at anyone and anything in my line of sight, ended up crying for awhile. Then went and bought a vapor mod system with three bottles of 0 mg juice. Still dealt with nic withdrawals but it's gotten easier. Thank goodness for the placebo effect of blowing out vapor. I haven't smoked a cigarette since that night and I plan on remaining smoke free for the rest of my life. Who knew a boob job would be my deciding factor and motivator to finally quit?!
OK, wrapping this up... I'm able to only take 8 days off work. I hope that's enough. I'm a CNA. Yeah, I know, this could be a problem with lifting restriction. I work with great coworkers so it should be OK till restrictions are lifted. So my pre-op is scheduled for June 8th. That's when size will be discussed, measurements taken, lab work done, check written, etc. I'm sharing pics of my current reality and some wish boobs too.

Well I encourage you to do it. I can relate to you. If this is gonna help boost self esteem in that area do it and be proud.

Wow! Its amazes me that just when you think you're the only person going through something/look a certain way and you feel odd and alone, but then sites like this one shows you that your not alone.... Kudos to you for having the courage to not only tell your story, but to show it...I'm in the same situation, body frame and story(breastfed my babies for over a year,my second for 2years) my "breast" looks exactly like yours. I've been wanting implants for years as well passionately since 2007,but money and time has always gotten in the way. Good luck to you can't wait to see the finish product lol love this site!

I know what you mean! I love this site too and I will try to update as much as possible and hopefully others will find help and encouragement if needed. Heck, I found encouragement just from your reply stating that your "breast" looks like mine lol

Hi, thanks for sharing your story. I am a nurse so I'm familiar with all the lifting that CNAs do. I had BA in April and went back to work after 3 weeks and I had to run in to a patient's room that was falling out of bed. Of course I couldn't let her fall, but I wasn't able to brace myself correctly so I felt like I really put too much pressure on my peck muscles. I'm not sure what the laws are like in WI, but my doctor in California wrote for me to be off for 3 weeks and I filed for disability so I could still get paid. Not sure if you have that option, but 8 days seems really quick to go back to your job after BA.

I agree, but unfortunately that's all the time I can have. Strings were pulled and a coworker is doing overtime to accommodate that. I work in a CBRF and currently we have only one resident in our facility that needs lifting. It's a small facility with only 15 rooms and all but one room is filled right now. So other than that one resident that needs 100% care assistance the other residents are stand by assist and/or independent care. But yes, I do worry about what will happen if someone falls. I will not be much help to my coworker. Crossing my fingers that doesn't happen.

I'm a nurse and went back to work for 1 day after 7 off. I was very careful and requested we use a lift to move patients, which we should be doing anyway. Is it possible for you to have a lifting restriction for the first few weeks? Energy wise I felt 100% fine, totally pain free, but I am being careful with lifting. If you can get your employer to okay you being at work with standby assist only patients I think you'd be fine.

Yes, that is the plan. Even though I may feel fine when I go back to work I do not want to do anything to jeopardize my healing. Thank you, ladies!

Well it sounds like you have great co-workers to help you and can get by without a lot of heavy lifting. Best wishes!

You are going to love it. I looked just like you and I'm 1 month post op- it's amazing. Good for you for quitting smoking- nothing like boobies as an incentive!

Thank you for encouragement and suggestions. I don't know if Dr will do bigger size. He was pretty adamant during consultation that too big causes a lot of problems. As a matter of fact he had a 275 cc sample laying on the table and said he thought that would be too big for me. But he said that he will calibrate the pocket during surgery and will put in the largest ones that my pockets will hold if I wish. So, yes, I will be telling him to put in the largest my muscle pocket will hold.

No way!!! Really? I was as flat As you.. The doctor did 555cc and it feel it's perfect. I actually would of pushed for 600cc . I would say go for 450cc . I did the mentor silicone smooth moderate round implants. Deff ask him why pay so much for only 275cc which is really nothing . I'm serious after the swelling that probably would be a B cup each cc they say is a cup , aim for 450+ . You actually had more skin than I did. I will post pictures up of me this week marks 1month from 4/29. I did mine with dr.soler-baillo in Miami. A friend highly recommended me and I flew from NY stayed in Hollywood Fl, drove down to the office 3x and I was so happy with everything. My friend had no complaints and neither do I. I'm really happy. Google him.

Also some doctors suggest small then when you go else where other doctors can go bigger. Maybe hat doctor your going isn't that experience? You can send them pictures from your email and this doctor I went to will give you an estimate.. And suggest what u may need. I highly recommend this office and for you to speak to Denia at (305) 661-1996. Good luck and when you do get hem let me know if I was right about going s bit bigger ;)

Thank you for your advice and suggestions. I agree with you in regard to going bigger when taking decreased swelling in consideration. I will let those that are interested know how it goes on the 8th.

Getting items ready and trying to not count the days

Yeah. Trying to not count the days. Would be like trying to not breathe. 6 days till pre-op and 20 days till surgery.
I have ice packs ready. I found Thera Pearl breast packs in the baby section at Walmart. I bought two sets. I also got two of the rectangle shaped sports packs of that same brand. I'll post site pics of these products.
I bought zip front sports bras and a few hook n eye front closure sports bras as well. I have to admit I've already tried a few on over my most heavily padded bra. I like how it looks!
I also picked up some Bromelain and Arnica. I've read about these supplements on here. Not 100% sure I'm going to be using them and if I do I need to read up on them some more first. If any of you ladies want to give me some input that would be great!
